Worth it for the desserts! Have eaten here twice now in January. Not crowded. I am mixed in thoughts of it.. teally wish the entrees were better somehow... Delightful hostess who is wife of the chef. Open airy place, yellow walls and lace and blue curtains and white tablecloths. Lovely surroundings and quiet. Husband tried the special grouper and he said it was delicious... i thought too much butter. I had lamb chops that were good but on a gray brown sauce and veggies of the night were red cabbage and red potatoes. Next time we both tried the beef bourbuignon- pretty good but again too oily and presentation both visits could be improved.. a sprig of rosemary, an orchid (we are on an island)- or SOME more color. Beef b had spaghetti squash (delicious! Wish i would have had a plate of this!) and red potatoes again. Beef b did have small bits carrots in it but came out a bit like over cooked stew and even though my husband took rest home, i had no interest in having any more. Very good and reasonably priced French wines. Excellent dessert i would return for.. but not the meals we had- they were "ok" but cream puffs and apple galette EXCELLENT. So great staff, wonderful atmosphere, good wines, excellent desserts but meals just a 3 star- WISH i could rate better, really do.... :-(.

A classy and welcome addition to Sanibel, run by a French chef and his organizational mastermind Floridian wife. Nice range of well executed French food and beverages. I finally tried rabbit here and was not disappointed. It is both semi-casual and (justifiably) somewhat expensive, unusual shared traits on the island.

Outstanding evening on all counts. Food was exceptional. I had the rack of lamb and am still talking abt it a few days later. Tender, meaty, well seasoned with a wonderful rosemary reduction - so very good. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable and service was impeccable. A must try if you are on Sanibel.

We had a lovely anniversary dinner at Blue, and everything was DEVINE! I had the veal chop and my husband the rack of lamb. Not stuffy at all and everyone was so friendly! What a gem!
