In the Apollo Beach area this is the best Steakhouse/Sushi game in town. My family has been primarily ordering take out due to someone being sick and we have been fortunate in getting consistently good food. Sushi rolls have been excellent. Tried the "Beef" Lo Mien (should be Steak Lo Mein), and was pleasantly surprised. I will say that while consistently good sushi is provided, there can be deviation in the Lo Mien; sometimes superb other times par for the course. And typically they cite about 15 minutes for preparation (sometimes it has been more like 20, but when it is busy it is busy). That said, we have not experienced the Hibachi side of the house, yet the folks who typically are leaving usually are leaving with a smile, so my guess is they are doing something right. When we did dine-in (not habachi) the wait staff was awesome everyone took care of our table as far as empty dishes and our waiter was solid about delivering food and drinks. Now the place has its rushes and parking can be painful. Hopefully after writing this review tonights order stays on the positive and I havent jinxed the quality! :) EDIT: Beef Lo Mien was good, but not the spectacular "Steak Lo Mien" we received the first time [where the steak was cooked medium and it was amazing...] now the beef is typically medium-well to well done - oh I miss you medium

I took my wife here to try something different than the Japanese Steak House by our home. We received quick service, but did notice a wait for others at the Hibatchi (waiting for their table to fill up). The sushi was really fresh and delicious. My wife ordered the Filet Mignon and Chicken for her entree and I got the NY Strip and shrimp. Both meals came out great and exactly as ordered. The chef was fantastic as well and very personable. We have eaten Hibachi many times and have seen the same tricks over and over, however this chef was able to still keep us interested and engaged. The random rounds of free sake shots he was handing out definitely helped and was something new. If I had to do anything different it would be to take advantage of their special hibatchi dinner for two for $45. This special included steak, chicken, shrimp, scallops, and lobster and the portions were full sized. Now we know. We will be going back and have already started sharing with our friends.

Horrible service starting at the door with the host giving attitude. More attentive to having her personal conversation than doing her job. We arrived at 10:20 knowing they closed at 11:00pm We first asked if our party could still be taken care of they replied yes then someone else came out to tell us no at 10:29pm. She processed to tell Me, you had to be there before 10:30 when we clearly arrived at 10:20. The supervise came and made a big deal about it and proceeded to make it seem as thou she was doing us a favor by trying to seat us after. Which made no sense because we were clearly here before the time line.I have been to this location before and I tried to over see the attitude the host, but clearly today was just to much and I will never eat here again or recommend this place to no one.

Worst experience ever. First we sat at the table for about 5 minutes before someone came over and asked us what we wanted to drink. Then 2 minutes later another waitress came over and asked us what we wanted to drink because our waitress was serving another table. Then we ordered 2 special sushi rolls with no avocado and it came the rolls had avocado. So we told the chef and his response was "KITCHEN CLOSE"! We got there at 9pm and they close at 10pm. So to end the night we took the rest of our hibachi food home and found a big piece of plastic in the noodles! Also when we were there 2 tables behind us had a big crawl out of her sake cup! Never again!

The staff and the hostess are not very professional. Some even talk to you in a condescending tone. Unfortunately Ive been loyal because the food issue so good. However after numerous rude staff members Ive decided to quit this place for good. I will not tolerate being treated the way Ive been treated. I have invited new people to this restaurant. I have supported them. I Will not reward businesses for treating their customers like crap. Maybe they will learn how to treat their customers better in the future. But as for me they lost a very loyal customer.

Should have just gone to Brandon Kobe Steak House. First I call for a 7 oclock reservation. I show up on time and end up being placed at a table that people were already eating at. The service sucks took forever just to get the broth and salad. The air had to be broken because more than half the place was fanning themselves. My husband has bad allergies to any shellfish. Why did the chicken, shrimp, scallops, and lobster tail come on the same tray. All in all I had a horrible experience and will not be going back....

Excellent food and excellent service! We went on a busy Friday night but were seated on the sushi side right away. The wait staff was EXTREMELY attentive, without being disruptive or annoying. My drink was never empty once, which is a pet peeve of mine. The crab rangoon, tempura appetizer, and sushi rolls were all amazing, as was the lo mein that we took home for lunch the next day. A great experience, cant wait to go again and try the hibachi.

Absolutely terrible!!!! To start off it was our first time here and the waiter rushed us to order and was very vague when I asked her for help with the menu.Then the sever assistan were took away our soup before we even fished. Also my 13 year old sister wanted to order from the kids menu because she didnt feel like eating much and the waiter to us it wasnt possible to order from the kids menu because it was for kids 10 and under

This is one of favorite restaurants. Weve only had sushi here, but they also do the hibachi grill and Murican dishes as well. The sushi is easily 8.5 out of 10, so the sushi isnt an after thought like other hibachi and buffet places. The service is just right, meaning they dont pester or neglect you. The restaurant always appears clean and professional. Not sure what else to say about this place, but we love it.

Very racist restaurant, do not waste your time. I waited with my husband and toddler for over ten minutes for a table and a white couple came in and were immediately seated. I ask the hostess (who was texting on his cell phone) if a table opened up and to my suprise 4 tables were open. I asked to speak to the manager who was by the bar next to us. She did not even turn around...I did not waste my time.

Waiters must be on a tip share or hourly wage, because all of them are willing to help any table! They seem to want to turn & burn the tables, which I love! The worst part about going out is having to wait for the staff. Not a problem here! The staff is always kind and knowledgeable, so its not a harsh "hurry up and eat" type of environment, like some establishments. We will definitely return!
