I was addicted to their cracked Sicilian Olives...until the last two purchases. When something is really good and doesnt need to be changed, why change it? I was told the vendor is responsible for inserting tiny olives in with the larger ones. The tiny ones are like skinning a pit in comparison to the large ones and the larger ones taste better. When I got home the first time and discovered the smaller olives in my container, I thought and hoped, it was an error...but I went back for my next "fix" and it was the same and I asked why not leave a good thing as is? " Oh,you get more olives this way," I was told. Well, tell the vendor quality, not quantity. At $9.99 a pound plus tax it is a veritable disappointment. It is like a drug addict getting a bad pack of smack. I have been coming in for years just for these olives....I am not going to overrate Bella Roma in the hopes that the product problem gets corrected...and no I do not do drugs...just making an analogous point.

Wow, what a disappointment. I went there with my wife to order 2 Easter Breads with the colored hard-boiled eggs in them. When we went there to pickup our order, the place was packed with people and they should have had a line just for "pickups". It would have kept the line moving. We get home and opened up the boxes and noticed the food coloring dye on the hard-boiled eggs never dried and some of it soaked into the bread. Probably because the eggs were not cooled enough before dyeing them. Not very appetizing to look at. Furthermore, when we tasted the bread, it was dry and had no flavor. Honestly, we could of just gone to the Publix bakery and bought some pastries from them for about the same amount of money spent. We wont be buying bakery items from Bella Roma again.

I was at the Roma bakery monday, March 7,2011, and I purchased bread, cookies, and a variety of pastries and I must say that I was very happy with my choices. Im Italian and Im always searching across the state of Fl. for a good Italian bakery, and I drove one and half hours to visit this bakery that someone recommended and I am so happy, everything was very fresh, made with quality ,homemade,etc....I highly recommend this bakery, Ive traveled all over Italy and I know good pastries and this comes very close. bakery business is hard work, my family owned one many years ago and I appreciate home made patries in these times, when every thing today is made with artificial products......I beleive that in these hard times they still deliver quality

They have good sausage. Their bread is usually fresh. They have good food and pastries. Service, on the other hand. They close at 6:30. I went in there about 6:15. I ran out of cold cuts for lunches and they could not slice me any ham because the slicer was already being cleaned and they only have one slicer. I specifically looked up to find out what time they close. If they are going to close at 6:30, they should not start cleaning the slicer until then, otherwise, close at 6:00. She said she usually starts cleaning the slicer at 6:15. Why stay open past that? I mean, it is an Italian deli, but youre not able to get deli products during full operating hours. Now i have to go out of my way in traffic to go somewhere else. Thats frustrating!

I remember going to their original location on U.S.1 and Rio Mar Drive 30+ years ago every Sunday with my parents as a child, and the pastries, service, and food are as wonderful as I remember. I look forward to going back for years to come with my own family.

Bought cannoli (minis) from the bakery. Cannoli were stale. They refunded what I paid, but generally disappointed in quality of baked goods. This used to be a great place, but dont know what happened to quality has slipped. Too bad.

I purchased their rice balls and they were dry. The prices on the baked goods are higher than the regular Italian Bakery I go to in Port St Lucie. I think Ill stick with the other place.
