As good smoked meat is concerned, in my eyes this is not it. Not absolutely terrible, just not real good. Would compare it to Sonnys in many ways. Ordered the feast as to try as much as possible hoping to find "real deal smoked food". Appetizer we went for was the blooming onion. This was the best thing we ate their by far. Done correctly with a great sauce. Tasted like outbacks in many ways. Brisket: lacked any texture or seasoning. Was tender, but I prefer brisket to not have the covered and saturated texture. This only results in meat without any crust or bite. Sausage: one of the only times Ive ever refused to eat it. Once again no flavor or seasoning. The skin just killed it, couldnt cut or rip the rubbery skin.. So surprising as sausage is so easy to produce a snapping texture. Chicken quarter: again not even tempting to eat. Once again they couldnt produce any decent texture.. Although I could at least rip the soggy skin. Chicken wings: surprisingly good. Still surprised... Wont be craving them just like everything we tried, but they were a good texture.. Lacking any seasoning (as the pattern emerges). Pulled pork: pretty decent, not worth being the star of a $39 dish but it at least still had texture. No complaints on this, once again season the food.. Or at least have a house seasoning. Ribs: had more flavor than the chain restaurants. But not good enough for me to want to go eat there or order again. Fall off the bone with no bite to it... Sides...... Well nothing special.. Cornbread was the best side we tried there... Beans, Mac n cheese, greens, and the potato salad had nothing special to mention; just very basic. We also got the jalepeno hush puppies... Probably sucked since you could hear the waitress get called to the kitchen and hear them scream loud enough that we could hear them yelling about the hush puppies from the farthest seats in the building. Came out very dark brown/ burnt on the outside and uncooked in the center. Waitress was just awkward.. Overall not with the sixty something dollars spent.

I wish there was like a 4.9 star option because thats truly what I would give this place. Its easily my favortive bbq place. It has mind blowing delicious bbq, possibly the best Ive ever had. Been there once as dine in and a 2nd time for takeout. Both times the food is amazing. The service is great, fast, they treat people well, and the prices are easily the best youll find for bbq. The portions are extremly large. The only negative I have for it is the need for a more powerful AC unit in the restaurant itself as it can get a little toasty in there. But that could also be due to how hot the kitchen must get (I couldnt even imagine how hot it is in there). But even with the temperature, Id gladly sit in there again to eat their food. Whoever owns this place needs some serious credit for how well they do bbq. I cant even accurately put into words how much I enjoy their food.

First the good. Only my family and another customer were there. Ordered the special. Sandwich side and a drink. Food came quickly waitress was perfectly attentive coming to check at the right intervals. Now the negative. The meat was good nothing spectacular. My side was green beans. They had NO flavor at all. And were extremely soft. It was odd that the cook (Im assuming the owner) came out twice to ask us about our meal right after the server just checked on us. It made for to many interruptions in our meal. Then the owner/cook berated the server for something on the floor in front of us! Later as we were leaving. They were having issues with the card reader. My husband said he talked to her like complete crap. Makes coming back a huge turn off

Came in and stood at the door for about ten minutes before I finally just sat my self. Walking to my table you could here my sneakers sticking to the carpet with every step. Then once I got a waitress I was ready to order. I ordered a blooming onion and burnt end sandwich off the menu. After 5 minutes of sitting down I could here the chef yelling from the back "we dont have burnt ends or onions!" So I sat for a few more minutes before I was told and picked something else. I also went and used the restroom and there was no soap. I havent even ate yet but my experience is already bad enough to not come back.

Service is TOP NOTCH! I ordered the Pulled Pork dinner with fries and baked beans. It was so much food even for me. Im 58 240. Owner was observed going to every table to check customer feedback. The hot BBQ sauce was great, not really hot more like a sweet hot. Corn bread really hit the spot and the beans did not taste like most BBQ places. You can tell it didnt come from a can. Thick cut fries were also good, just like mine a little crisper where they dont bend when you pick them up. Great flavor though. If you want a new place to check out, this is the place. Will def be back.

Im sitting here awaiting a wheelbarrow!!! LOL. Seriously - I dove in because I was really hungry. I had a two - meat plate: ribs and smoked sausage with green beans and Texas Toast. Now I have to say this... Im used to Tennessee BBQ having lived there almost 20 years and I am not a big fan of the smoke flavor I was impressed. Place is clean, comfortable two dining rooms and pleasant. Service is great... Nicole was my server and she is bubbly and fun! The guys in the back are busting their keisters and it shows. I will be back and bringing my momma!

Went for an early dinner late lunch one day on the recommendation of a friend. The food was great I had the ribs and they were well cooked. The true highlite this trip was my server shanyn. She was quick curtious professional and personable even during the busy time I was there. She even turned the TV to ESPN for me so I had something to watch while I waited for my food. Even if the food wasnt good the service from shannyn would be enough to bring me back. Its people like her that make dining out a treat.

BBQ Lovers Rejoice! This place is the real deal... Everything a true BBQ place should be....from the smoker in front, not tucked away from sight, to the divey [said in love] exterior-interior, this joint is genuine and far from being "chainy". Service is top notch, portions are massive, prices are more than fair [pulled pork dinner, with 2 scratch cooked sides and corn bread, 10 bucks!] Oh, did I mention the Cornbread? They may say choice on bread, do not bother! Best Cornbread EVEAH!!!

While looking for Johnsons bbq in the same area I happened upon this place. Got a takeout and havent eaten it yet but for the quantity received its hugely overpriced. I asked about buying smoked sausage on the side and the waitress finger gestured it was sold in about a 6" length for 3.99 so I ordered 2. What I got was about a 4" piece cut in half. Havent weighed it but Im guessing the weight is about 3 ozs so I just paid about 42.00 per lb for this sausage.

Just happened to be hungry for smoked food while driving home and short stack was on the way. Friendly staff and service was quick ordered the ribs which were tender and smelled delicious but the taste was a little bland, didnt seem to have enough of rub or an after taste the bbq sauce was pretty good to compliment them. The smell of the place was amazing and environment was comfortable will be back to try more of the menu soon
