This cafe isnt terrible but it misses the mark on diner fare and feel. + Good gravy, sausage, ingredients seemed fresh and quality + Biscuits were more northern but good. Bit harder, thicker, less fluffy and airy. - Poached egg overcooked - Scrambled eggs seemed flat - Coffee was bleh - Table cleaned when we sat, cleaner smell really overpowering - Place seemed a bit barren, didnt have that homey diner feel. -/+ Service was attentive but odd...they seemed really concerned with making sure everything was good and it were kinda awkward at times like when I jokingly said no to is everything alright and the server took it really seriously On another site I submit reviews to I was hit with a rude message followed by several fake 5* posts so I really have nothing good to say about the people who either run or are invested in this cafe. I would have liked to come back and give lunch a try but theres no reason to waste time trying. Would recommend the biscuits and gravy, to-go, at most.

There is absolutely no charm about this "cafe". Unless you enjoy sitting 2 inches from another person , I guess that is charm ? The hash browns are all hash , no brown. The biscuits are so dry and dense that the only conceivable purpose is as a landing pad for a space X rocket. They even managed to mess up water some how. The grits were straight from the farm (not to sure they even went through the kitchen to be cooked) . All of the problems with this restaurant made us relieved find the only problem with the chocolate chip waffle was that the chips were just thrown on cold onto a warm waffle instead of put into the batter like most respectable waffles. All in all there was no highlights to this breakfast , only low lights.

This was our first time in Port Canaveral and we were lucky to find this great place to eat breakfast. The food here was the quintessential version of Southern favorites. The grits had a silky creamy consistency with a richness that made them perfectly paired with my vegetarian omelette. The Belgian waffle my son ordered was golden brown with a slight crunch on the outside and a tenderness that was a great contrast. If you are in Port Canaveral, do yourself a favor and show up to Southern Charm Cafe before they get busy because this place was packed.

Extremely friendly service with good quality, old-fashioned sandwiches. Stopped in here while our daughter was attending space camp at KSC. The staff was immediately friendly and helpful. Our sandwiches were very tasty, and even the Cuban sandwich satisfied my wife who is very picky about her Cuban food. Owner overheard us chatting up the waitress and came over to chat with us. Its the type of friendliness were used to in NC, but not so much in FL. Thanks again!

This place was nothing but fantastic. Came here for breakfast on my vacation... The food is just out of this world... Professional, friendly, clean, quality, and service where all astounding! 5 starts just isnt enough! Waitress was completely wonderful, the chef even came out and asked how our food was, cant say enough for things about this place! If your in the area, this is a MUST visit!

One of the most outstanding friendly delicious restaurants in Cape Canaveral and Ill go as far as saying Cocoa Beach as well love the staff, the owners Jeff and Betty are wonderful people very friendly atmosphere and above all one of the cleanest restaurants weve been in. I want to start by saying that the Shrimp and grits were THE BEST. Better than Ive had outside New Orleans, Charleston or Savannah. But....I also had the corned beef hash. I asked the waitress before ordering if it was made here. She said yes. It was a lie. Clearly from a can. Otherwise would have been 5 stars

After unsuccessfully trying to order breakfast at our hotel (Radisson) we decided to walk over to Southern Charm Cafe instead-we definitely made the right decision-Breakfast here was delicious, prices more than fair, especially for the portion sizes! Service was quick and friendly and the biscuits were amazing!!!

Dont waste your time, Unless you want some good food in a great atmosphere. The portions are out of this world large, so come ready to eat. The biscuits are a little different but good none the less. The prices are vey reasonable. Definitely a place to eat if you are in the area.

Been there for breakfast. ...totally awesome! Today I asked if they delivered. ...theyve never done it before but were willing to give it a go! Delivered on time ( if not sooner) Breakfast was just as great as if you went there & sat down to eat. Just sorry they dont serve dinner!

We ate here a couple times during our visit to the area. The food was excellent and the staff was great. The owner was especially helpful and very attentive to all the guests. Very respectful to any and all military service members. I would highly recommend. We will be back.

I came in this place when it first opened I was the first one to order the steak and eggs the fact that they use a 10 oz ribeye now is fantastic food is hot fresh the staff is fantastic dont care too much for the owner though LOL but man what a great restaurant

You know it is a good place when you walk in and see local law enforcement enjoying their meals. Great selection, reasonably priced and fresh served with many smiles and a hometown feel. Highly recommended! Try a biscuit...so good!

Wonderful! Veteran owned, retired Air Force. Ship and grits were excellent. A friendly down home place for a relaxing breakfast or lunch. Vets get 20% dicount.
