Boundary Street Café is the quintessential “mom-and-pop” restaurant that sets a new standard for independently-owned, small town restaurants. Despite living in the area for some time, we didn’t venture into Boundary Street Café until a friend mentioned his coffee-klatch met there on a regular basis. However, it only took one visit and we were sold! While the menu choices range from traditional (chicken and waffles – YUM!) to unique (Southern Bell Salad – who knew kale, goat cheese, and granola could taste so good!), each item is prepared with Chef Tony’s distinct flare. His wife, Nicole, is not only the face of Boundary Street Café (she’s often the one taking our order) but also provides an array of homemade desserts that make you feel guiltier for NOT eating them than for caving to your craving. Ive been a customer of Boundary Street Cafe since it opened. The Shrimp and Grits is absolutely the BEST shrimp and grits Ive ever had over the past 40 years. And I LOVE the Southwest Chicken Salad! Great food, friendly service! And Ive used Chef Tony and Nicole for catering - their Frogmore Stew was a big hit!

My wife and I enjoyed lunch here, she liked here beef sandwich and I loved the shrimp and grits. Located in a small strip mall close to downtown, the atmosphere is lacking, but the food and service make up for it.

A great stop any day of the week. The menu is concise but varied. They are very friendly and accommodating. We survived with six kids under 6 so I consider it a real win!

Salmon wrap has kale and I switched it with rommiane/spring mix and I was much better aqainted with the flavors.Also the soup was very good and so was the rest of our meals.
