Really very good considering what I was expecting, especially given the type of food on sale in International Drive! I can see why this restaurant polarises people. For example I were reviewing this compared to the class of Indian food I can find readily in London, this restaurant gets three stars. But lets put this in context for a minute. This area is full of AWFUL food. If you dont want steak or fish you are in trouble. This restaurant goes further than that and offers a decent Indian meal. I arrived about 9pm to an empty restaurant and ordered some Onion Bhajis. To be honest they were probably fried from frozen - bit too fatty for my liking. But they were served with 3 sauces - onion, tamarind and mint which were clearly made at home and not preprocessed. I had a very pleasant suprise when I got my main course of Paneer Masala with Peshwari Naan. Not only was the paneer exactly how I like it but the sauce was tasty and excellent, and the Naan bread had clearly been cooked in the Tandoor oven (which is the name behind Tandoori food). What I liked most of all was that the portions were normal-person sized. What is it about restaurants in the USA, that they think that you want to eat the amount of food that someone 250lb needs to eat. Nope, the portions here were me-sized. I didnt manage to eat it all but thats not the point! Service was attentive and excellent and they looked after me very well indeed. About 10pm the restaurant started to fill - almost exclusively with Indians - wearing saris and other traditional garb, nice effect. Clearly this is a restaurant popular with the local Indian population. Given the amount of RUBBISH food this town has to offer... pizza, noodles and steakhouses... this was a breath of fresh air and a much welcomed meal. Price was a bit above average ($25 a head or thereabouts) but Id much rather that than some dodgy veggieburger.

Attentive service, diverse menu, Excellent food. Medium to small sized intimate restaurant, everything I ordered was fantastic and properly portioned for one large eater or two normal eater to share. The place was clean, it does show its age a little theyve been in business in that location since 1988 after all but it really just adds to the charm! There are 4 other Indian places within a 5 minute walk, one of them even has a name that copies this place..... be careful which one you end up in. You want this one, Ive never been to India, but Ive eaten LOTS of "Indian" food all over the country from Alaska, Utah, Colorado, South Carolina, Las Vegas now Orlando. Punjab is in the Top 5%. Go There! (ordered chicken curry, chicken vindaloo and two kinds of Naan, all perfect)

Owner does not like children at all avoid this restaurant if you have children..Our 19 month old baby was looking at himself in and touching the mirrors they have running across the wall and the owner started saying very loudly (thinking we couldnt understand what he was saying) that we as parents are not doing anything to stop our son and that we are bad parents. As soon as we heard what he said we left our food and left..my advice to the owner of this restaurant is to go forth and multiply..food is very expensive for the size of the portions and the whole place needs to be brought I to the 21st century. I would not recommend this place nor will I be going back there ever.

Worst ever restaurant experience! Food is bad. Worst service but there will be service charge. We didnt get even water until we ask for. Let alone smile, very rude people. 25% service charge is included, for what? Worst of all, mistakes they made in my bill. Please make sure you check your bill before paying. They made mistakes(?) with simple calculation for 10 buffets. It took a while, for two well educated people, to get our $30(approx) money back. They say they dont know how they arrived at that number. When we are done, we noticed another customer disappointed and refused to eat but they demanded him to pay. Dont spoil your day!

One of the worst customer service I ever encountered. We went in to the restaurant at around 9pm which is quite before the restaurant closing time, even then we were facing real difficult to get the staff to get our queries answered. There was no greeting from the lady who was taking order and not even one time she smiled at us. Food was mediocre, we ordered an appetizer and main course. They served them altogether and when we asked of they can wait for main course for sometime, and the answer was a straight NO. I wont recommend this restaurant to anyone especially your looking for decent food and hospitality.

NO Manners! Terrible behavior. Please dont come if you are want more friendly place to eat. They gave us bill in the middle of our dinner!! They didnt even ask!! We just started eating curry!! Its like, you came then thank you and leave paying the bill. I even asked why did you do that? She said- "You did not any soft or hard drinks, so you can pay the bill whenever you are ready" Me and my wife came to Orlando on Christmas vacation. My wife wanted to go to an Indian restaurant. Unfortunately we chosed this restaurant. You guys can definitely come but dont come if its a vacation or having nice time.

The food was terrible. The seeshkabab was soggy and has no taste what so ever. Lamb curry has more curry than lamb in it. For the price and food I got I will not recommend this good looking restaurant for anybody. I travel a lot and try to give good feedback. But some of these old dogs (sorry for harsh words) never get it. So we the customers have to change these old folks. By the way there is another Indian restaurant just 30 feet from this restaurant. They have lot better and reasonably priced food. Bottom line do not go to this res for good Indian food.

In our week-long stay in Orlando this was the fourth restaurant we went and we fell in love with it. The tall guys serve you with smile, perfect english and really nowledgeable manner. They might look rugged at times but thy have thier style in thier service food and quality. We loved their samosas. The Ch. T. Masala is just awesome and flawless. We first went to the Passage to India -terrible. horible, worst ever. Next Shalimar-same story. Next Ashirwad-OK. Sizzler careless and bad. Punjab is just the best. keep going.

I have had dinner at this restaurant on two different occasions with family and cannot believe how much the food gets better each and every-time. I literally felt as if I was sitting in their homes having dinner with the family owners. Food was amazing, hospitality next to none and prices are so affordable. If you are truly looking for authentic indian food, no need to look further. They are located right off I-Drive between the Worlds Largest McDonalds and Buffalo Wild Wings.. Try it!
