Having had indian (gujarati) food for my entire life in india. I felt homesick for last 4 years untill i discovered this place. Their food is awesome. Ive had 2 bad experiences when their gravy was sort of watery but then i found out that the cooks were gone for catering service. So whenever I go i call ahead of time and make sure they are not catering and the owner of the place is there which is when the food is awesome with lots of variety. They serve hot puris or rotis with the buffet and also they have started giving hot dosas which are included in the buffet. I am not a big fan of dosas but my friend who loves them was excited and he loved it. Overall make sure call ahead of time that they are open (one weekend they were closed and i was devastated since i have to drive about an hour to eat there) and make sure they are not catering at that moment. I have given 4 stars since i have had 2 poor experiences but i have worked my way around it by making sure that they are not catering. Overall this is the place for authentic gujarati food. Love it Love it Love it

We loved this restaurant. My wife and I eat vegetarian Indian all across the country on our travels with business and were delighted to find this restaurant. The staff is friendly and willing to explain their very interesting menu. We had 2 of the thalis which had enough food on them for 3 people. I had the bharta, mung beans and a really wonderful and interesting pasta and tomato dish that I cant remember the name of. It was served with soup, desert and chapati or roti as well as papadum. We also order a huge serving of masala dosa. I loved the sambar, the dosa was perfectly crisp and thin. My wife thought it had too much hing but I didnt notice and liked it very very much. We would definately go back. You should definately check this place out!

Why spend lot of money in other restaurants when you can get a good quality food in less price? We found this place accidentally. It is little off the main busy road, so we were little hesitant to order food in beginning. So we ordered only 1 dish to begin with. But we liked the food and we ate afterwards like, we had never had food in days :) LOL!! The food is good and cheap. It tastes good. Oh yeah...and they dont add gratuity on their own as some of the other indian restaurants do in orlando area.

Always a favorite for lunch or dinner. Food is fresh, perfectly flavored and always makes me happy. I can eat until Im stuffed but never uncomfortable. My favorite is the Punjabi Thali; two curries with all of the accompanying sides, a soup and dessert. It really doesnt matter what I get, its always good. We had them cater part of our wedding as it was a street-fare-style buffet and people that had never tried Indian cuisine as well as seasoned foodies loved their food.

Fantastic Indian food. Honestly, my ex-wife is Indian and her mother was an excellent cook of Punjabi cuisine. This restaurant was better. Also, there were some nouveau twists on traditional dishes. It was a delight. I would definitely go back if in Orlando. I could have had it a little more spicy, but I think restaurants have a difficult time catering to the American tolerance of spicy food as "hot" is very subjective. All in all, we each enjoyed our food immensely.

This place has the best of best n the worst of worst. As many mentioned, hrs of operation r inconsistent, as well as their food. The owners r great ppl, but just have too much on their plate to handle, bc catering is also their main source of income, therefore lack service n quality in house at times. Best thing is to call before going n notifying them of the no. Of ppl attending, especially during PM hrs.n just pray the rest goes well. All in all, luv the food :)

I have been to this restaurant twice and both times the food was good. The food here is Gujarati (Indian) and therefore completely vegetarian. I have gotten the buffet both times. With the buffet comes Puree or Roti freshly made. This is not the best Indian I have had (my favorite is Flavors in Jacksonville) but it is good. The location of the restaurant is quite crappy but it tastes much better than it looks.

We went to Khasiyat at 8:10pm this past Friday after calling to ensure that they would take in customers until 8:30pm. Very disappointed to find the place shut and the people inside did not even look at us though we knocked at the door several times. Went back on Sunday at lunch time and found it closed again. Maybe they are going out of business...

This is the best vegetarian Indian restaurant in Orlando. Their menu is great, and their lunchtime buffet includes fresh roti (rotli in Gujarati) or puri, yogurt, and a dessert. The food is made for an Indian clientele so its nicely spiced. Ive been eating "desi" food for almost 50 years and its like eating home cookin.

Great indian vegetarian food.Although, primarily a gujurati outpost but even north indian dishes are excellent. we eat there often, and found the food quality to be consistent and absolutely delicious. As mentioned earlier, due to heavy catering they sometimes are closed, but i always call ahead and check.

Wonderful Gujarati food. We love their food and visit this restaurant very frequently. Hope their business hours are longer than 8 pm. Only issue is if you are planning to go in weekend , you need yo call them before hand as they often remain close in weekend or close early in weekend.

A no frills place. With awesome vegetarian food. I would highly recommend their buffet. Not very spicy though. Still very good vegetarian food. Just call ahead since they tend to close when they get large catering orders

Good food. We tried all the thalis and all of them were excellent. Dont get bogged down by the ambience or decor. Did not try anything South Indian but North Indian and thalis are definitely highly recommended.

Good food, please confirm if the restaurant is open as they do catering and many a times they are closed when you reach the place due to commitment to catering.

I went there lst week and they had a sign on the door that they were closed for a party. Probably the health department shut them down or something.
