We made a mistake not reading these reviews before going to this restaurant for lunch a couple of days ago. All the negative reviews are correct: it stinks when you enter inside the restaurant, its dirty, dust on the lamps, furniture, etc, very dark (all the lights were turned off), they charge automatically 15% tips with bad and slow service, they ask for more additional tips when paying, water was awful (toilet water served?), food was very expensive and disgusting, everything tasted like indian/pakistani armpits, the portion were very small, the (only) old waitress kept pushing for ordering larger portions without never telling us what they would look like and how much they would cost, I dont know if she is not fluent in English or is just trying to trick the customers into buying more stuff (I think the second option is more likely), their naan was nasty and cost $4 each piece (naan was always included with the food in all the other Indian restaurants we have visited), receipt was handwritten (are we back in the 40s?), got 2 knives in my paper napkin but no spoon and no fork (had to ask for those), when I went to the bathroom (not very clean and soooo old), I glanced into the kitchen and the (only) cook is a Indian/Pakistanese man with a turban and a long thick beard not wearing any net or nothing hygienic around his beard, etc, etc. Can the County Health Dept. visit this place and shut it down??? WORST food ever!!!! Stay away from this place!!!!!

Most important!!! These guys are cheats please check your bill thoroughly!!!!!!!!! The menu says kulfi $3.50, they charge $4.50. Papad for $1.50 menu says 2 pieces means, they will break the papad in 2 halves and thats their 2 pieces. I got the bottle of wine which is not listed on menu, they said for $44.95, on my bill $45.95. Almost half of the items had a 1$ more on the price. When questioned they dont like it, they are giving a hand written bill, I requested for their GST or HST NUMBER, they say they dont need to provide. Totally unprofessional. They family run business the son who argued with me and almost fought with men. When he came to know we are visiting from CANADA, he started saying TRUMP, is my president, he is going to build wall..... so hilarious. I could not believe Wht he understands about politics and running the country. Food is ok, but people who run the business dont have any customer service skills, they argue and try to prove their point. PLEASE DONT EXPECT ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE THESE GUYS ARE CHEATS, if I DIDNT CHECK MY BILL, they would have easily jipped me $5, and I dont know about 15$ in taxes that he charged me.

I was honestly surprised to read some of the other reviews about this place, Ive never had anything but a good experience eating here. I usually get the Tika masala chicken but Ive tried other menu items and Ive always been pleased no matter what it was. The owner is very nice to my wife and I (although to some she may seem standoffish, its because she actually doesnt speak fluent English so conversations are tricky for her). This place is cheaper than most other Indian places Ive gone too as well, I get a whole bunch of food for my wife and I for less than $40 with sides and appetizers. I think sometimes people go to New restaurants expecting 5 course meals and people waiting on you hand and foot the entire time. You wont get that here, theres a small staff since the place is family owned and operated, but they have good service, good food, and good prices. Ill definitely keep going back.

I really dont know how they got such unfair reviews. My wife and I have eaten at dozens of Indian restaurants. This was among the best. The service was prompt and friendly. The menu had a good selection without being overwhelmingly comprehensive. We had lamb Korma, lamb biryani, chicken vindaloo, and aloo gobhi which is a vegetarian dish of potatoes, cauliflower and peas. Everything was fresh and flavorful with a genuine Indian seasoning. The girls preferred mild and it was mild and I prefer some heat and it was spot on. The recipes were authentic. The same way I prepare them at home. I prepare Indian dishes at least twice a week at home and theirs were a little better than mine. I learned something. So, I would heartily recommend Punjab for dinner. The prices were reasonable for Cocoa Beach. Treat yourself and give them a try.

We eat Indian food often both in restaurants and at friends homes and this was hands down the best Indian restaurant we have been to. It is a small, family owned, unassuming restaurant and we were greeted and treated like friends. They gave us tips about what dishes to order and we ended up getting lamb curry and butter chicken. The lamb was delicious and the butter chicken was perfectly tender, a feat few restaurants master. We also enjoyed their samosas and garlic naan. We completed our meal with a cheese curd style dessert. I dont know what it was called but it was amazing. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Cocoa Beach. Maybe we will even go for lunch tomorrow.

Dont go here, expensive and taste less. We family of 9 went there and order food, server said that order is not enough for all of us and I got to know what that means when we saw order. Portions are very small for the price. They gave one small rice cup for 9 and charged for everyone for extra cup. Usually in Indian restaurant u get one rice bowl for each curry. Food is not good and defnelty not authentic punjabi . Go there if u have money and dont know how to spend. Oh BTW glasses are real dirty and I have to buy bottle water. May be thats business strategy to buy bottle water.

We have been dining her for years, we had dinner there last night and as usual were not disappointed. I had Lamb Curry extra spicy and onion nan and it was absolutely delicious, my husband had Chicken Madras extra spicy and was equally pleased. And we enjoy their spiced tea.We were serviced complementary Papadum and chutney that was very nice.It is an older setting but that should not be a deterrent as it is comfortable and relaxing. The waitress was very pleasant and accommodating. It is one of our favorite local restaurants that we always enjoy returning to.

Got the expensive dinner for two. Very pricey for the amount of food we received. Could have ordered separate meals for much less. That being said, I thought the curry was very good. Wont ever order appetizers again as they didnt taste fresh (frozen?) and were doughy and pasty. Will try something different, perhaps vegetable dish or kebabs. Service was good but only two couples eating in.

Ambience - 0 Taste - 0 Service - 0 Price value - 0 Seriously, they couldnt give us an extra plate for serving. They dont even have water bottles. And food is overpriced. A man who doesnt know how to cook, can make better food than the person at this restaurant. This is one of the worst taste of all cuisines I had tasted. And this is definitely not Indian food.

One of the few times Ive ever gotten a take-out and threw the entire thing in the trash. This place is a dump inside with poor service and awful food and rip-off prices. Avoid at all costs no matter how bad that curry craving is. Youll have to drive a ways but almost any other Indian restaurant on earth is better than this place.
