My boyfriend and I are traveling and wanted to try something new. We heard about the groupon deal and decided to give it a shot. To start off, he lovesss Asian cuisine and I loveee Mexican, so it was the perfect mix! As soon as we arrived, we were impressed by how kindly we were greeted by the staff, especially the man that seated us. As our meal continued, all the staff worked together to answer our questions, replenish our salsa, and get us anything else we needed. Last but not least, the food was AWESOME! My boyfriend could not get enough of the salsa, the tortilla soup was incredible, the sushi and mahi mahi tacos were also wonderful. I would also highly recommend the passion fruit margarita. Overall, great experience...I wish we had one of these in Michigan!

The only good thing was the service.. Jid ( I think that was his name) was excellent and apologized for everything.. Food was terrible and very expensive!!! for what we were served.. Our crispy tacos were burnt.. The cheese dip was not authentic Mexican cheese dip.. It was cheddar and it didnt melt well..They had no liquor license.. The rice had no flavor.. Definitely not my choice for Mexican.. Only one of us ordered Japanese and it was just ok for Teriyaki.. DEFINITLY WONT GO BACK!!!

This truly is a unique mix! The food and ambiance, including art of a man in a sombrero and a geisha... Where else are you going to find that? Great mexican dishes almost go too well with an order of sushi rolls. You can have a mix of both or if you prefer, just one side of the planet. Both were surprisingly above average in quality, & the staff was nice (although they never came back to refill my drink, a shame, and led to a great jeapordy in tip.) Plan a visit.

Best Sushi Roll ever called "Sky Roll" such a cool mix of food. Salsa and chips came right away, and refilled throughout the meal we ordered 4 crunchy tacos a strawberry margarita the Sky Roll with no Masago and Crab Ragoon. Everything was freshly made and delicious. Very friendly staff, completely satisfied! Used a Groupon and only paid $5 for everything below....SERIOUSLY...

Ordered the "super" nachos and chicken quesadilla. The nachos are just cheese and beans with some sourcream and jalapeños. The chicken quesadilla is literally inedible. The chicken tastes old and try. Absolutely disgusting. Food was cold and might be the worst food Ive ever eaten in south Florida. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Excellent place under new management to enjoy fresh sushi and all types of Mexican food. The Miami Heat and the Sky Roll sushis are awesome. Also the crab and shrimp burritos or the Creole Shrimp are also very good choices. Great atmosphere and reasonable prices are sure to bring me back. I highly recommend it!

The shrimp tempora tacos were great. The tortillas are homemade. The staff was friendly. Its not too crowded. The only negative was our sushi wasnt cold, just cool. That made me a bit concerned. Other than that it would be 4 stars. The menu is huge too.

The owners are great cooks and treat you like long -time friends. Their food at El Guanaco never disappoints, why wouldnt we try their new venture? We got steak burritos for take-out today, always a tasty choice! Thanks ladies, youve done it again!
