Their food is great and the prices make it taste even better. Every meal Ive had here has tasted similarly to the entrees Ive gotten at Kabuki and Kobe, and its 1/3 of what youd pay at the big Japanese steakhouses. You can watch them prepare the meal right in front of you, minus the fancy "tricks" youre paying for at other restaurants. The workers are not the friendliest, as another review has stated, but the food is great. Its perfect Japanese take-out.

On August 31, 2007 I purchased lunch at Hibachi Express. My total came to $7.76, which I noted in my checkbook registry. I paid using my ATM/Debit card. I did not add tip because it was a take-out meal, When I checked my bank account, I was shocked to find that $9.31 had been debited from my account--$1.55 more than what I had authorized. If I could find the receipt, Id formally complain. Good food and fast, but I wont be eating there again.

Love the place, and the food..Have never received a messed up order, and the food is always heartily portioned..I always get the hibachi beef, and teriyaki chicken combination, but everything Ive tried has been good. Sushi is low priced, and deli quality, so expect it to be similar to the sushi you can buy at your grocery store, only cheaper and fresher..

Very unsanitary. Saw the guy drop my shrimp, pick it up and put it in my bowl. When I called him out on it he refused to make me another one saying "it wasnt a big deal." and instead denied me service. Trying to serve people dirty food is a BIG deal. Who knows how many times theyve done that.

The rice was like a ball of glue paste and overpowered any taste of the tuna salmon and crab. The cucumber was soft and mushy. The soy sauce was watered down. Hands down the worst attempt at Sushi Ive ever had but on the positive side the place was clean. Do not waste your time or money

This was just okay for what it was and a little over priced. Dont expect much atmosphere or phenomenal service. My wife likes it, so weve eaten there a few times. Never checked my bank account afterward. That first review has me worried now.

Another reviewer is absolutely correct. They are very unsanitary. The refused me service after I called the chef out and told him I didnt want the piece of shrimp he dropped and just chucked back. Yuck!! This Hibachi Express is very unsanitary!

Lazy and rude. Their staff need to be trained by Kabuki and lose the Zues juice foot prints as well. If it wasnt for the price I would go to Kabuki every weekend.

Its just regular Asian fast food at a little higher price. Most of what they give you is rice. Its cheaper and better to get takeout at a buffet.
