While we were actually originally headed somewhere else, walking past a place called "Magical Meat Boutique", its hard to pass up. After looking at their menu we decided to stop in for a beer and to grab some lunch. I had no issues with the service, like other reviews mention; it was earlier in the day that we dropped in, so it wasnt very busy until we were paying our check. The drink selection was good, and the food was super flavorful. We ordered the Hoisin Duck Spring Onion Rolls as an appetizer, which were fantastic. The only thing I would have changed about this dish was to either put hoisin sauce on the inside of the rolls as well, instead of just on the outside, or to offer a side of sauce for dipping, as duck can get a little dry, especially when deep fried. For our main course we ordered the Hot Turkey Ciabatta and Soho Butty sandwiches, both of which were great. The Soho Butty was everything I wanted the duck spring rolls to be, with all the same flavors and sauce inside of a bun instead of a roll. The Hot Turkey Ciabatta was delicious, as well, but both of our sandwiches came with fries that were definitely under cooked, which was my only true disappointment in eating here. Overall the flavors of the food at Magical Meat Boutique were excellent, and their menu had such variety that we will definitely be back to try out other items.

Magical Meats...lol... basically a grubby chip shop pub o sorts. Anglophiles rejoice, they also sell fags and Brishish-iffy-ish candies. Boasting Guinness, of course, and a small assortment of British beers on draught, this last stops on the way to where we park and probably why we end up here repeatedly. Without putting too fine a point on it, theres something charming with the oft coarse service that just as quickly tilts favorably. Hot and cold, this particular outing. We popped in for libations and after awhile our friendly waitress disappeared leaving us waiting and wanting with her subordinate who could care less; pushing the bill on us when we finally decided to order food. That didnt happen. Bar areas tight and interior tends to be too warm. Plenty of seating outside but shades limited. Strong two point something, just not sure what. A-Okay.

Warm shredded duck on warm bread with very chilled veggies at 8 pm on a Monday night when everything else in town doesnt bother to open... They did this sandwich to perfection. Keeping the flavors AND the temperatures distinct is talent worthy of Miami or New York, these guys set a very high standard for bar food. Only a year old, Mt Dora take note, u now have a second challenge to tastes you do not expect here...

Loved the entire area. Used Google Maps to explore some of the best recommendations. Magical Meat Boutique didnt disappoint. Cozy pub atmosphere and awesome service (from Emma and Katie). We will be back. This was a non-festival Sunday afternoon lunch. Not crowded at all. Highly recommend the fish-and-chips and the peri-peri chicken sandwich (good spice). Nice beer selection. Casual environment. Very cool.

Best fish and chips in Mount Dora...hands down. You also have to try the duck egg rolls...I know, sounds weird, but theyre freaking delicious. Wife and I have eaten here several times and everything is good. Not sure why that other person has a problem...Im guessing they are one of those bold social media "haters." Also, karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights is so fun -- if youre a karaoke person. ;-)

I took my family for fish and chips worst meal I think I have ever ate fish was under cooked the chips were nothing more than very short burnt fries my sister even bought a meal to take to her boyfriend who is English to see what he thought he also said worst meal he had ever eaten and said what a shame that they call this place a real British restaurant I will never eat their again.

Coming from London, I sometimes long for British food. I went with my wife another Cockney and my adopted 28 year old son (Yank) I had the Full Monty Breakfast, quickly followed by a Sausage roll....Yum! The Wife had Haddock and Chips. It looked smelled and tasted great. If you are from Blighty you will love it........The Yank did, he has been converted!!

This place is filthy. The staff never cleans the kitchen, they never change the fryer oil. Theres no sanitizer or bleach to sanitize the dishes. The owner pays late or not at all. The coolers are running at 50 degrees, which is a health hazard. And he buys his beer from ABC to save money and cheat on his taxes - which the ATF doesnt like very much.

AWESOME dining experience! We enjoyed Fish/Chips and an ice cold beer and enjoyed the total BRITISH theme from Beatles to Bobbies caps and authentic BRITISH cuisine....We met the owner and she proudly explained the restaurants history and she works the floor from bartender to serving food and greeter. We cant wait to go back!!!!

Nestled in the heart of Mount Doras historic district is a hidden gem. Some of the best food Mount Dora has to offer will be found here. From Scotch Eggs to bangers and Mash, you cant go wrong here. The atmosphere is great and you may even find some live music. The owners and staff are friendly and welcoming.

Great new restaurant in Mount Dora. British food, great owners, fun customers. Near the Lakeside Inn. I had great beer, scotch eggs, fish and chips. Everything was delicious and cheerfully served. I think this new place has a great future in Mount Dora.

The fish n chips were just okay. The price was kinda high but isnt all of Mt. Dora? The biggest problem was with a/c that works but the doors were open. At 5pm on a Sat in late July that means youre gonna sweat! Not worth it, in my opinion.

Interesting beer selection and good food. The bangers and mash is awesome. The indoor seating is okay but not a great vibe - too many people in and out. The outdoor seating is great. The service is almost always really good.

Went there for the funny name, liked it for the food. British style menu, heavy on the meats. Depending on what you get, they serve your meal with a fresh jar of British mustard thats quite good.

I am a fan of breakfast all day. The unfamiliar British options were a gamble for me but I enjoyed everything! Service was really friendly and wonderful, and the live music was fun.

Authentic English Pub. Great beers and pub food. Fun on the deck listening to entertainment. Never been disappointed. Besides the deck, curbside seating. Always friendly!
