My husband and I visited this place on 10/30/2015. The first thing I noticed when I walked in were the odd Greek paintings on the walls of Amazonian type women that were also witches or something. It didnt go with the rest of the decor. Really weird. I order the broiled scrod with rice pilaf and a salad. My husband ordered the 14 oz prime rib with fries and a salad. My dinner was excellent. The scrod was flaky and well cooked. Even the tarter sauce that they served with it was yummy. My husband also LOVED the prime rib. I tasted it and agreed. It was the best Ive had around this area in a very long time. Very tender and delicious. It cut like butter. The service was excellent as well. We told our server that we were in a hurry and she made sure that our food was delivered to our table very fast. All in all, I would definitely recommend this restaurant for the food and service. I would have given the Green Diamond 5 stars if it wasnt for the decor although the paintings are conversation starters. My husband and I talked about why they were there most of the time.

Visited 5.10.14 with my M-in-law, husband and B-in-law. My food was incorrect, I received the dinner that was listed above the one I selected on the evenings "special" menu even though I POINTED to it and chose a side (which was not an option on the dinner I received). OK, so no big deal...the server was kind and even though I had to eat alone at this point, I guess I expected to be at LEAST partially compensated....glass of wine, 25% off my dinner, but I wasnt. I cannot express enough how CLEARLY I told the server (pointed to it as I read the exact description) my selection. Plus my 3 witnesses. Be that as it may, someone dropped the ball (server, kitchen... ). Im not one to complain at restaurants, looking for a freebie all the time (we all know one of them!) but I do feel a little something would have made me feel better and not write this review. So for a wholesale $1.50 glass of cab, perhaps, or a tiny % off my meal that I had to eat alone, this review MAY keep hundreds of dollars away......

I was surprised to see the negative reviews below. My parents are long time local residents of the area, and chose to have a fun filled 50th anniversary party at the Green Diamond. They handled a crowd of 80 in the dugout room very well. The staff was hardworking and friendly, the owners were very accomodating, and the restaurant was clean & cozy. It is a very nice neighborhood grille & pub. I have also been there for dinner. The menu is varied and my grilled salmon was quite good. (My Dad prefers the deep fried food that looked yummy, but I try to avoid). Perhaps the folks below who were rude to the wait staff & who wanted "fine dining" shouldnt plan a party at a Grille & Pub :)

i had ordered their mouth watering rib dinner! they brought out the dinner rolls first with no silverware. We had to flag the waitress down and the rolls were hard and dry. their famous ribs were awful! soo disappointed. the underside were burnt and the meat was very much dry! waitress came and asked how our meal was so i told her. She actually said aww, sorry about that and walked away!!!! food and service were awful!

Expected a better experience. Started off with a dead spider falling out of my wifes menu. The crab cakes were ok just tiny. Definitely not worth $16.00. My daughters shrimp was chewy. Wifes dinner salad didnt live up to the menu either. The chicken sandwich that was basically a flat chicken finger completely lost in the bun. Explains why there was no wait on a Saturday night.

Highly recommended! You cant beat their prices, with weekday specials, awesome steaks that are Certified Angus Beef, pork chops grilled, Hungarian foods, and much much more. Couple that with phenomenal atmosphere including a dining room side, bar with TVs on the other side, and a party room which you can rent free of charge.

Definitely one of the best places to eat in Barberton. They have a pretty expensive menu, and their soups are always great. I will agree with some other reviews that say that some of the food is a bit overpriced. Service is hit or miss sometimes.

Very good burger and chicken dinners. The service was solid, my wife and I never wanted for anything, refills nearly every time our cups were empty. Pricing is a bit on the higher side. A nice little place to go for a decent dinner.

Had Friday cod dinner with fries and salad. Breading on cod was tasty and salad very good with mozzarella cheese on it. Could have put some tomatoes on it, which would have made it better. Fries were thin. So so.

VERY expensive for the quality of the food served- canned green beans and a microwaved baked potato w/ overcooked salmon. Not awful, just not fine dining- at all! Staff were friendly.
