We went to the Minneola Grill after not patronizing it for over 7 years. Tina, the owner and our waitress was very friendly and helpful - a pleasant change from the former ownership. Her charming British accent added to the experience. We ordered a cheeseburger and cole slaw as well as a patty melt and waffle fries. When the food came, which did not take long at all, we noticed how laden with grease it was. The food itself was tasty, but the amount of grease on the burgers and the fries was over the top. I was using my napkin to soak up the grease on the waffle fries. For people with sensitive stomachs to a lot of grease, they can be in for a problem later. We wont order anything that might be fried there again, but we will probably return to give it a second try to see if the grease surfaces again in other dishes. Not quite ready to check them off our list.

At first I wasnt interested in this place based on the exterior look of the building. When my daughter suggested we come here I humored her. I expected a run down bar/diner. Once inside I was immediately greeted with an exceptional welcome from our server. There, we were given 2 menus, breakfast and lunch. We put in our order and after a very short while our food came. I am impressed with the speed in which it came. The taste of our meal exceeded my expectations. The price of our meal was lower than I expected too. I would say more but Im too lazy. Check it out for yourself, you wont be disappointed.

I will describe the conditions. Cock roaches everywhere, canned corn beef hash and the rudest owner I have ever worked for. Not only was I super excited to work for this couple, even though they keep their baby in a play pen and she screams throughout shift. I learned quickly that cleanliness and cockroaches do not bother these owners. Its too bad beacuse it could be a nice place to work and eat. If the owner isnt screaming at you she is picking at your coworkers. I refuse to be treated like trash while Im trying to make extra money for college.

I guess the food is ok but I, in general, agree with one review, i.e., "The food is pretty good and the waitresses are top notch but the owner/cashier could use some people skills because she is consistently cold, rude and borderline offensive." The wait staff is ok but the owner/cashier is totally bad news. How someone in a service industry can be so "consistently cold, rude and borderline offensive" to customers is beyond me. I ate breakfast there religiously for a while but quit because I just couldnt stomach her anymore.

You can come for an amazing breakfast at am unbeatable value (Id recommend the blue berry pancakes), or for one of their great burgers or melts, you have to get their fresh made waffle fries and special dipping sauce... And their homemade cakes and pies cannot be forgotten on the way out the door!!! Enjoy

I get their pancakes, and they are both large and delicious. Great service, and it has the old school mom and pop feel, where the waitresses will call you hon. Plus, I always see either firefighters or police in there, and i consider them experts when it comes to good local food.

The wait staff is very friendly. The restaurant itself is very average. The food and prices are okay. They have odd hours so make sure and call before you go. Also, if youre interested in only having coffee you pay by the cup unless you order a meal.

Food was awesome. The country fried steak was great and all was piping hot. Unfortunately so was the restaurant. I couldnt eat my amazing food because of the oppressive heat in the place. So, food 5 stars, service 5 stars, room temp 0 stars.

I can make breakfast better at home with my eyes closed. I was so excited to eat here due to the reviews from my friends and coworkers, but I was very disappointed. Elementary children assist in waitressing, and the service is slow.

Terrible food terrible customer service my hamburger was greasy as f××× and could not eat it was told thats just how we make our burgers...never offered anything to compinsate for the terrible food. Will never go here again!

I always come here with my girlfriend and she gets the turkey club omlet, im always jelous, so today...I got the turkey club omlet. The food is always wonderful, staff is great. It can get busy but always worth the wait.

Food is always very good, Coffee is also very good and all of the servers are wonderful and fast! But the owner/cashier (lady) is rude,not friendly at all. Its a shame because we love this place...

I had the ham grille w/ 2 eggs and potatoes obrien, Very good,good coffee, very friendly staff in a bare bones atmosphere. My wife had the eggs benedict which she said was excellent!
