I found this place here on Yelp looking for a breakfast place in this part of town. What a pleasant surprise. The food is outstanding and the staff is very nice and seem happy to be there. Ive been working on this side of town on one of my houses and have had a chance to have lunch here on several occasions. I have to tell you if your looking for a great burger and fries this is the place, its a fresh hand pressed 1/2 pound burger on a great bun they have crinkle cut fries that are cooked to perfection. I think it may very well be the very best burger and fries in Ocala. When we were in for lunch the other day they had a sign saying they were serving thanksgiving dinner and since we didnt have plans we signed up for it. What a great meal! I got to meet the Owner and head cook Tammy and she told me shes owned the place for 14 years. I dont know how many times Ive driven past this place and had no idea it was there.

This is a little place is a little gem. The service is fast. My husband and I came in and got the biscuits and gravy. ( eggs, potatoes, and peppers topped with a meat gravy of your choice, and a biscuit on the side) for what I expected vs. what I got it was amazing! The servers were really nice and attentive to all of their customers. We got refills on our coffees, which were really good. Id say this is definitely a place I would visit again.

The Northgate Diner is Definately living up to its slogan, "Ocalas best kept secret"! Be prepared for the best bang for your buck food ever. Large portions, sweet and charming wait staff. Ask for the stacked packed and jacked! Off menu item none the less Amazing. Just prepare to loosen your belt before you leave! Shout out to Cason and Tammy.

Great food! Staff is very friendly and accommodating! There was never a time where I felt like I wasnt being "served"! I must say the waitress Theresa, seemed like super woman. She never seemed to stop going and came by my table a number of times. I will definitely be returning! <3

Omlete was OK but fries were cold. Waitress only asked of I needed anything else once, when I first ordered, but walked pass me 15 to check on other (caucasion) customers. Others who arrived after I did received their food first.

Stopped by Im recommendation of guides from Canyon Tours. Dont let the unassuming appearance fool you. Enjoyed a fabulous "Girls Lunch." The food was outdone only by the amazing staff.
