Maybe my standards are high because I come from the "diner capital of the world" (NJ), but the food was disgusting. Food came out really quick, but it was gross. Food was definitely not fresh. You can tell the home fries were old. The ketchup was orange tinted, jam was chewy, my omelette was watery. Our two year old spit out her French fries which she lived off of. That has to tell you something. They serve sourdough French toast, but dont serve sourdough toast, so, you know that means its frozen and they just heat it up. As cheap as it is to make French toast, it must be even cheaper to buy the frozen kind. My daughter got chocolate milk that came out white with dash of chocolate on the lid, so, you know they didnt screw up the order. I feel terrible, but with Dennys right up the street, they should be more competitive. Their prices are the same as Dennys and you know what youre getting with them.

11/6/2016~~Old Time opened only 2 weeks ago at the most. The building looks like it was a bar long ago so the theme is a good fit. Large eating area with the usual black/white checkered floor, tables in the middle and booths along the side. Plenty of room to move around, you wont be bumping into tables. The restaurant has a few kinks to work out just as any new eatery would have. Service was a bit crazy but once settled the servers were attentive and doing their best. We had 2 eggs, scrambled, potatoes , toast or biscuit (which was good) and bacon. Toast and bacon were missing but server brought them within minutes. Everything was hot except bacon. Bacon needs improvement as far as taste. (different brand?) Potatoes were large slices, seasoned (not spicy at all) and delicious. Coffee hot and OJ was cold. Give them time to work things out. Big crowd at Old Time. More than fair prices.

Went to the diner for the first time tonight. I have seen so many mixed reviews that we thought we would give it a try. It was a horrible choice. Only 5 tables had people at it and I guess when I saw the sullen looks on every ones faces we should have ran. Our appetizer and dinner came out at the same time about 30-40 minutes after ordering. Our waitress apologized but dumped our food and ran. All I ordered was a roast beef wrap with cheese. Came with no cheese and literally one piece of thinly sliced roast beef at the bottom of either side of the wrap. The rest was lettuce, tomato, and onion drenched in mayo. It was so gross. My husbands sandwich was dry and hard to eat. The service was bad, food worse and the manager was walking around watching it all. Its also very dirty and dingy.

It was called a soft opening, this first day of business, but Im sure this restaurant will quickly become a favorite. My wife was very satisfied with the meatloaf dinner, and the crab cakes I had were the best Ive had since migrating from Delaware. The decor, "Old time diner" and the music (50s - 60s and maybe a trifle loud), the color scheme traditional Florida. Prices match most of the local offerings. Manager and wait staff friendly and efficient. Were going back soon! Try it youll like it!

Best I can describe this place is meh. The food was ok at best and being from up north it really doesnt qualify as a diner in my mind. Diners are usually open late or 24 hours. Also true diners usually serve the whole menu all day. If you like the food here good luck and have fun. This place is just another mediocre Lake county restaurant. Wake up lake county we need to get real restaurants this is why most people travel to go out to Orlando or other major cities to go out to eat. Good luck to all.

We went the other morning, and I asked for my vegtables for my garden omelet not to be cooked. The waitress who seemed ok before the request went in the kitchen and asked the chef. Whos reply was I will do it this time . Do they think with that response I would go back? Then my husband handed her a 10 percent coupon and she wouldnt take it because a manager wasnt there,and she could not figure out 10 percent off the bill. Would not recommend.

My family visited from out of town, and we have been hearing about old time diner. So today we decided to give it a try. They were busy today for lunch our food came out promptly. Server amber was great. We had the catfish which was amazing! All you can eat for $9.99 and my husband had the beef and reef sub, it was huge! Over all our experience here was great, glad we got to come to there new location with our family in town.

This restaurant is dedicated to leesburg and the old times memories, in sake of so many retiree who live in lake county area, memorizing the good old times and music from the 50s and 60s with many stars like Elvis and Marilyn and others with poster in the walls, please understand that at the beginning not everything is gonna function all 100% perfect, but at least it will serve good food and have good memories for others!

Not very friendly sever showed us her name by her tatoo on her chest was there with my son n a few friends was not a comfortable setting for dinner also we said our o rings n fries were burt didnt care n after all that we askedwen the grease was changed last responce was 2 weeks ago then ask for a milk shake n was told it dont work n she said she had no time for that machine so will not return

Great place to eat and the server are wonderful. .loved ours her name was Jessica went all out to make sure we where happy ..food was so good at dinner went back for breakfast had a very nice server then to his name was Ryan just loved all the pleasant people and good food will recommend it to all are friends keep up good work and those servers deserve a raise did a great job

Only complaint was how hot it was inside they had a ac repair man there when we was eating out finally got to hot that my 4yr old son was sweating as bad as i was so we left but please undersrand theyre food was so good i left full brought some home and did not make it 5 min before i ate the rest of it was not summer time and I the 90s outside i would not even complain

Went on Easter for a lunch. It was not busy at all BUT the food well let me tell you..the burger was a frozen burger and gritty could not finish it. The fries were not even fit to be served..freezer burnt fries with no taste at all. Husband had chicken wings that were like rubber with sauce poured over them..Its not worth the money or your time to stop...
