This restaurant is not capable of having a large party or event. I planned to have my rehearsal dinner here the night before my wedding. About 50-55 guests with a pasta bar. Met with the owner multiple times- 1 yr prior, 6 months prior, 3 months, 1 month, 2 weeks and frequent this spot a lot for brunch. We were basically forgotten!!! About two hours before the event (after my fiancé dropped some things off) I got a call from the owner and had to basically give him all the information over again. Time, guest number, food being served, etc. When we got there (which was 30 min late) the food was still not ready, the alcohol was not up in the private bar and guests had to go two floors down to get beer. No water nor plates. We ended up eating on plastic plates and using plastic utensils. What truly embarrasses and disappoints me is the fact that the owner had an attitude with my family and friends when they would request things like plates or pitchers of water. I had some out of town guests coming in later and he even called them out for coming late and told them there was no food left. This was supposed to be a celebration and help him get business and it was extremely stressful and rude. Main reason why I will never come to this establishment again. I warn others about having an event here to just be sure to follow up every single day the week prior.

Went there for dinner with my fiancee. One one the worst food experiences Ive ever had. The menu offerings, seasonings and service were awkward at best. The only saving grace if any was the root beer on draft. Maybe we should have gone for lunch but I will not be back to try. I should have left as soon as I saw there were no traditional diner food options available. We also should have known to leave when as we entered Quarrier Dinner an hour into dinner service, we were the only patrons and remained so until we left there by leaving the place empty. Overpriced semi-gourmet blah. I would have been much happier with almost anything from any diner anywhere but here. To sum it up with an example, there had ketchup and mustard on the table yet not one menu item could be used with these condiments. Instead I was given a tomato corn syrup relish, with of all things curry, to dip my over soggy breaded ginger -licorice? fried oysters in to. AVOID.

For years, I ate the filet mignon special at the old Quarrier Diner. I was excited to see on Facebook that there was an $8.95 filet mignon special tonight. I went to Timothys, the downstairs bar. The servers were very friendly. I ordered a glass of wine. The bottle ran out, and I only got about half a glass. I ordered my special. The friendly waitress punched the order into an iPad. Another waitress checked later and said my order may not have gone upstairs to the kitchen...not the first time this has happened with me. The original waitress brought me a salad with excellent homemade blue cheese dressing. She punched in my order again, and about 45 minutes after ordering, I received my filet, which was fairly tasteless It had some kind of sauce on it that seemed sweet. The potato was underdone, and you had to dig the butter out of little plastic cubes.

Love this place in general, but service is lacking. I watched a couple orders sit for almost ten minutes on the counter waiting for a server to pick them up. Meanwhile I waited 26 minutes for my appetizer at lunch time. This was my second visit. My first took only 15 minutes, mid afternoon. The food is good.

Our favorite place in town to grab a beer! Great food, especially the new menu! Awesome daily specials. 8 drafts, more bottles, and a good local selection. Timothys, the bar below he diner, serves the same food and is a great sports bar.
