We went two different times, The 1st time my daughter ordered blueberry pancakes and she ended up with the blueberries on the side and the girl sitting in front of us had her blueberries cooked inside so my daughter asked for her ordered to be fixed. The waitress got rude with her and said she didnt order it that way but whatever she would have it re-done. Ummm....we were not given a choice and every other place cooks them inside plus the girl in front of us did not specify either. We figured bad day? Went back this weekend for breakfast and I ordered a sausage, mushroom omlete with american cheese, the same one I ordered the prior visit. I received my omlete and it had raw onions and red & green peppers all in it. By the time the server came back to the table to check on us the other people I was with were done eating. I showed her the omlete and she agreed it was not what I ordered so I asked that they just take it off the bill because we were done. The manager? came over to the table to tell us they would take it off the bill but the owner does not want us back because all we do is complain. Last time I checked your supposed to get what you order and are expected to pay for it, not what the owner/cook feels like making you. We also had a problem with the light start flashing above us which was causing me to get sick and dizzy as I have a brain disorder and they were rude about it so we unscrewed the light bulb. We had no intentions of going back after so rude treatment and never would have posted this review had it not been for the owner saying not to come back and not having the guts to tell me to my face.

First time here. Were from out of town. Its kinda noisy so the waiter had a hard time understanding us. But hes still good, he would check back with us often. The bathroom stunk badly and one sink was missing the faucet. Toilets are updated with eco friendly flush. I got the chicken grilled salad, it was good, but my chicken was tough. The ranch dressing is watered down. My husband got the club sandwich and he said it was OK. He said its nice the turkey is on both sides of the bread, rather than one. They didnt give him as many fries as restaurants normally do, but thats not exactly a bad thing. My mum got the Asian salad and her chicken is the same. My dad got the French Dip and he said its good except the dip could be warmer.

Went there with a friend for lunch. Table was covered in ants, i could only imagine what the kitchen had. Felt a little uneasy but ordered any way. My friend had a ruben and i a chef salad. Asked about the seafood basket, all frozen. Well after getting home which was less then 5 minutes from the diner my friend ran to the toilet and threw up and now going to the ER because she can not stop throwing up. So if I could rate this place it would be a -10 star. Food sucked and service sucked, health department needs to shut this place down.

Popular, reasonably priced, local diner I would recommend. Only been for the breakfast and whatever I order has been great.... We go to the outdoor market on Saturdays early then go to the Cape Diner for breakfast. Good assorted breakfast and lunch menu. Recommend the Western omelette if you have a big appetite. Always a friendly staff and good service considering how busy it is... especially on Saturdays.

Ordered eggs benedict with hash browns. Emulsion broken on hollandaise sauce, ham was terrible and burnt in places. Still not the worst but the hash browns were soggy, flavorless, undercooked and greasy. Unedible. When I let the server know, she said well it just kinda comes with it, you arent charged for it anyway, shrugged her shoulders and walked away. Unbelievable.

Sat for over 10 minutes. Before I had to ask if there was a waitress working my table. Asked for basted eggs they couldnt do them because its not in their computer. So ordered scrambled eggs with dry rye toast. Didnt even taste like eggs, potatoes were greasy and toast was buttered. Silverware was dirty. Will never go back. Horrible food and service.

Come to a great environment where the staff is friendly, the coffee is strong and always filled, the portions are huge, and oh did I mention the food was fantastic? Glad we drove by and decided to stop in for breakfast, definitely now a go to breakfast place in the Cape.

Been coming here for a few years now and NEVER experienced any rudeness or even indifference from the staff. I think some of the negative reviews were posted on the wrong site. Great food and great service that keeps me coming back.

If I could no stars I would.. Ordered 2 eggs corned beef and hash with 2 blueberry pancakes side of bacon and boyfriend ordered same.. Everything was burnt! Service sucks and so does the food!
