Pro: Adequate food quantity , good variety Con: Sloppy, messy, bad presentation I understand the concept of Ny Bagel and Deli (get your food and go) so I dont expect the greatest of customer service but I do expect their food to be of good quality (which most of the time its not) :/ How disappointing. Their presentation is bad. I work in downtown and I order colada from different locations all the time and somehow, when I order colada from NY&B its always messy and spilled over!!! Now, Im not sure if its the delivery company they use or not but its consistent! Every time I order colada from them, its always, always, always messy and spilled over. Like really? Im not looking forward to sticky hands and coffee stains. Never is it neat, never. Now, Im not the one to leave negative comments, but today I received a bagel (of which I requested it to be toasted) and its BURNED, lol! I guess they over did it huh? Now, on to the plus side: Their bagels are good overall and I have to say that I love NY&Bs variety and their food quantity is vast! I ordered the Oriental Salad and its enough for two people for two days .. well, maybe not two days, but it is a lot! In conclusion, NY&B has so much potential and its sad to know that their BRICKELL location lacks quality and presentation. Brickell/Downtown is basically Executive Central so presentation and quality items should be one of their top priorities and would lead to happier and potentially more customers.

Horrible customer service. Very pricy as well. Owner is arrogant and pompous. They charged me for a buttered bagel and gave me a plain bagel. When I complained they demanded an extra dollar for the butter. I gave them the dollar and when I reviewed my receipt I demanded my dollar back. They also gave me my food in a to go bag even after I stated it was to stay. No apologies from the owner or his son in law. I will not return there anymore and do not recommend this eatery. There are numerous eateries on Collins Avenue that are cheaper and better quality, best of all that do not have an attitude and are customer service oriented. This establishment feels that they are privileged and just want your money for poor service. Outrageous prices – sandwiches average $6 – buttered bagels almost $3. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

This place is terrible. It is not only under new ownership which doesnt honor old coupons, it also has bad food. At 8:00 AM they had very few bagels, the one I had was hard like it was from the night before, and the service was poor. The employees were ill-informed and unfriendly, and one of the employees (the guy with the long hair) was outside smoking a cigarette and coughing onto his hands when I entered, then he came back in and went right back behind the counter to handle food without washing his hands. Ill never go here again, and I recommend that nobody else does either.

I worked here for a day, I asked for my pay of that day. The owner told me they dont pay for training which is illegal. That day I worked from 8-3 with no break , also illegal. On my first and only day there, I seen them cut bad tomatoes and serve it to customers. I also seen them drop a pizza on the floor and still serve it to customers. They touch ur food with no gloves and they barely wash there hands. There kitchen looks disgusting. I advise u guys not to eat here at all if u dont want to get sick from a stomach virus. Thank me later

My new favorite spot in Brickell ! Just exactly what I was looking for this morning . I walk by and see Bagel & Deli . The name caught my attention right away. I stop in the local shop and get welcomed immediately . Very warm and friendly . There were so many choices. I figured I couldnt go wrong with anything . I got a cafe con leche y asucar ! Every sip was nirvana . I also got recommended a Mexican Egg Sandwich but substitute it with wheat wrap inside every bite there was (egg,black beans,corn,tomato,cheddar cheese,fresh avocado

Just had lunch. I didnt even have my foot in the door and the person at the counter greeted me with a huge smile and asked if they can help me. I asked what he suggested and he asked me if I want hot or cold. I told him hot. He said get the NYer. So I went with his suggestion. WOW!!! What a great tasting sandwich!! And it was so big I had to ask for a small to go container to finish it later. They had stacked Corned Beef with there own home made coleslaw, russian dressing and swiss cheese. It was to die for. Highly recommended!!

When the first greeting you receive as you walk thru the door is "what do you need?" You get one star. The saddest part is that wasnt the most inappropriate or unprofessional part of my experience. There was a ghetto chick yelling in Ebonics at a co worker in her shower cap and the guy who checked me out said "what you have boss?" Am I in Brickell or the hood? Im not hard to please but cmon at least McDonalds level of customer service should be expected.

I agree with one of the other comments. This place really does SUCK! Good food, Absolutley horible service and staff. It should not take so long to prepeare a bagel to serve for take out or eat in. In addition there is hardly ever an available parking space on the street! I will not go to this location any longer. Id rather travell all the way to Einsteins on the beach or Dixie. Pittiful.

The customer service here is pitiful. I have been there 3 times and each time has been progressively worse. After waiting 10 minutes for my bagel today, I opened the bag at work to realize that they had not toasted it nor put any cream cheese on. I am only left to wonder why it took 10 minutes to put a stale bagel in a bag? Do not waste your time here.

The WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. We ordered food and waited over an hour and a half for our food and it never arrived. Tried to call them to tell them to cancel the order and they would just pick up the phone and not say anything. AVOID THIS PLACE! Go to Toasted Bagel. Even though they are not much better, at least you get your food.

DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY FROM THIS PLACE!! They never answer the phone and never deliver. The whole system is ridiculous because you pay when you place the order online and then you literally have to go there to get your money back or your food. Once you actually get the food, its good but going through the hassle is not worth it.

I always walk here (because parking IS a big issue) and love the bagels, soups, and coffee. My work mates are addicted to their bagels and pesto cream cheese. This isnt the fastest place to go if you are in a hurry, but its very convenient for carry out.
