Dont let this small taco shop fool you. Their tacos are big on flavor! Im always on the hunt for good tacos and theres plenty in Soflo. Most of the ones that Ive been to start out good, then few months later, the quality slowly declined but Firito Taco has been very consistent. Its a tiny shack, nothing fancy with bar stools and wobbly picnic tables outside. Its also hard to notice while driving on 79th causeway but its next to Tap 79 Gastro Pub. They have few import beer selections but their taco concoctions are the main attraction here. I tried the Costilla (Coca-cola slow braised short ribs). They were melt in your mouth goodness! I was also was brave enough to try the Jarochito (10 hour braised pineapple pork w/ fried jalapeno). I was pleasantly surprised that the fried jalapeno actually added a semi-sweet taste to the taco and was not spicy at all. I absolutely loved this one! On my 2nd visit, I ordered the Guerrillero Pastor. It was again, delicious. The pineapple salsa with chipotle sauce complimented the juicy shredded pork very well. I will definitely keep coming back to this place and try all their other taco offerings. Prices are very reasonable too. $7 to $9 for two made to order and well-prepped taco yumminess!

Honestly the food here is really good. 3 stars bc theyre pretty slow and bc they NEVER answer the phone. Dont quite understand why they cant get that part figured out. 9/10 times I call the phone just rings endlessly or an automated machine answers immediately saying there is no mailbox setup without ringing at all. Pretty frustrating but i guess the up side being Im not eating tacos nearly as much as I try to bc I cant ever get through to place a pick up order and I dont always have 45 mins to sit there waiting for to go food.

Awesome place! Without a doubt the best tacos Ive ever had and incredible margaritas! I watched the very nice waitress make our margaritas by squeezing fresh fruit and mixing a wine and tequila to make an incredible drink. Then she served us the tacos which were unvelieveable! They were so good I had to order another round ( along with more margaritas). I will absolutely be visiting again soon! Great happy hour also! Very lucky to be within walking distance of this place!

Service was great. The food sucks. Its not Mexican or Texican food. I am half Hispanic and I was a cook at a Mexican Restaurant in San Antonio. If I would have served those Tacos to my first I would have been Lynched. The only thing that tasted Mexican was the Corona beer. Price is super expensive. 2 Tacos for $9.00. [ Insane] Taco Bell makes better Tacos. They must be Floridaxan Tacos.

Definitely one of best tacos and quesadillas in North Miami. The food is made with quality ingredients and the staff is very friendly. I asked for an extra crispy quesadilla, and lord behold it was perfect! Even though the portions for the tacos seem small, they are surprisingly filling (we ordered 2 orders of tacos).

Food and drinks were absolutely amazing!! Highly recommend it! Saw it from 79th and decided to stop in, it was a wonderful experience! The staff was wonderful and very helpful! The house margaritas are very good and not pre made. Very neat to see a place like this, will make this a regular stop!

The tacos and quesadillas are good, but they price 2 small tacos for about $8. You must have at least two orders for a lunch per person. $16 + drink $3 + tax and tip = $24 a person. They must work on their pricing. BTY, Seating tables outside cheaply made and highly unstable.

Just wanted to say that these are not cheap tacos! Everything else is just perfect. You have to try the Costillas Tacos, simply the best tacos I have ever had. The Margarita is a must (Watermelon Margarita). We will definitely come back again..

Amazing tacos!! Better than Coyo Taco by far. The place is run by a husband and wife, the husband is the only chef so when its busy be prepared to wait a little but the wait is soooo worth it! Well be back!!

Good spot. Two tacos per order, wish it was three. Carne asada was great! Tinga Club not so much, it seemed like very low grade chicken. Not too pricey but like I said, wish it was three tacos per order.

Cute little place with AMAZING tacos! We ordered a cheese quesadilla, 4 tacos and two beers it came to $45. It was a bit expensive but the tacos are so worth it!! The beer is overpriced.
