Well, if I could rate this experience NO stars I would. On Thursday 5/4 @ 11:45pm or maybe closer to midnight. We arrived at this specific Fridays. Prior we to arriving my husband & myself experienced the wonderful FANTASTIC show @ Cirque du Soleil in Orlando. We were staying @ the Silver Lake Resorts, and wanted to get an appetizer or two & some alcoholic beverages before returning back. Mind you this is a tourist town, especially Orlando that butts up to Kissimmee. We walk in were not greeted by ANYONE!!! So we sat at the bar which is where planned on sitting @anyway. There (from what I observed) was ONLY one bartender currently working. There were probably 8-9 people @ this fairly large round bar. The bartender observed us, DID NOT greet us, however went and continued to go wait on customers that were located in a booth. Which mind you came in 3-5 minutes AFTER us, that the male hostess just sat, after he currently appeared from nowhere. Im a general manager at very prestigious restaurant in Michigan. ALL...I mean ALL of the Fridays have went out of business in the county I live in which is OAKLAND County. Obviously, we walked out. This establishment isnt properly staffed what so ever. My question is, WHERE was the actual manager on duty?? Maybe in the office with his/her feet up on the desk watching television...?? The manager should be filling in the spots that are lacking in the restaurant. VERY DISAPPOINTED, I will never step foot into another Fridays ever again. Thanks for listening, Yvonne MARONE

Having read the reviews on here, I thought it may just have been a bad night for the restaurant, but its not the case. Everyones comments are spot on. Food delayed, service was practically non existent (three service staff literally hid next to the toilet chatting the whole time), had to get our own cutlery, had to ask the various servers (we had 4 different ones) to refill drinks as they occasionally passed through, bring the sides we ordered etc, and several tables in the restaurant were not cleared throughout our whole meal. On top of this, the main course was awful! We decided to speak to the manager who was quick to discount our bill, but I could tell that the feedback we were giving wasnt going to be taken constructively. I usually love American service because of their tip culture, its really great. A good server can earn good money for giving good service, and as a restaurant manager it makes life so easy motivating staff to earn as much as possible by being the best, so there really is no excuse for the servers. Perhaps they earn enough already?? Its the most poorly run restaurant Ive ever been to in the states. Read the reviews and know that this isnt the place to eat. Outback, Longhorn, Applebees, and Charlies will all do a much better job so eat there. When the restaurant isnt performing their senior management will maybe step in and sort the place out, but for now dont waste your time or your money.

Worst TGIs I have ever been to. Ordered Ribeye steak (medium) and Lobster tail. Steak was overcooked bordering on well done and lobster tail had been cremated under a grill. Sent meal back and waited on a re-cook minus the lobster as didnt trust them to get the tail cooked properly, whilst the rest of my party ate their meals. The steak which arrived was medium in parts but probably medium to well, the steak was quite fatty, big lumps, not what a Ribeye should be like, it should have marbling which dissolves when cooked adding flavour to the steak, this was nothing like a true Ribeye, it was also quite stringy. We were offered a free desert which we declined but I was still charged the full amount for the steak, no discount offered for poor service nor having to eat whilst my party were all but finished. All in all this is the worst eating experience I have had in a long time and needless to say I shall not be returning to this particular TGIs. Keep your money for better restaurants and enjoy the Texas Roadhouse, Longhorn Steakhouse, Outback and even Chilis who will all treat you better and offer good food along with the service. Avoid this TGIs like the plague. ps: I gave this one star only because you cant leave zero stars, I would actually give it a minus if I could.

We came a little late but it wasnt late in terms of when the restaurant closed. Still the service was a little rough, we wanted to sit outside because it was rather cold inside but were told that there were no servers for outside. But were also told that we could sit outside if we wanted. So..?? Our server was pretty dry and came off so, idk if he was having a rough night or thats the norm for him and thats what they allow either way he came off very unfriendly. He brought out our kids meal first and it was cool like it had been sitting for a while even though he said it just came out. Then when he brought the rest out and half of the food was cool as well. For a couple of our drinks lemon was requested on the side and it was forgotten. We wanted to pay separately but was never given a chance to say so. When he saw us marking the check to separate all the accounts thats when he asked us if we wanted to pay seperately. Overall this was the worse experience Ive had at Fridays and what makes it worse was that we arent from this area and the one we go to at home has always been amazing.

It was a Friday night and this location is in a heavy tourist area. I was calling to find out more about the unlimited appetizer deal that has been on TV and TGIs website and see how bad the wait was. I called TWICE allowing the phone to just ring and ring, UNANSWERED, for about 3-4 minutes each. When I arrived there was 3 employees standing at the host stand, doing nothing. And plenty of empty tables. It took entirely too long to be greeted by a server. Then I found out this location does NOT participate in the corporate unlimited appetizer deal being advertised. Fork was so dirty that it shouldve been easily noticed when they were wrapping silverware. But food was served fast, fresh/hot, and was delicious. Which is why I gave an extra star.

Ate here last week and i have never had a bad experience at a TGIF restaurant before until now. To start,a family came in and sat at a table beside us but took so long to get served they got up and left, the food took 40 mins to come, the quesadillas were soggy, the jack daniels sauce was lumpy and tasted off and the chicken burgers were stringy. There was a mutual feeling around the restaurant as we heard other tables discussing the same about the food and service. We then got into a discussion with another man who as we were leaving said, and I quote, "this is the worst restaurant i have ever been in, in my entire life." We had a good laugh and then got on with our night. Moral of the story is, this TGIF sucks, go to a different one.

Terrible service .... im in the biz if i gave that service i would be FIRED... Derek was great, poor guy was running around crazy byhimself doing service bar and taking care of 22 people at the bar for at least an hour i was there ! Some lady in glasses and blonde hair finally came out and helped for 10 minutes then started picking up tables in dining room being greedy when bar service sucked and derek was RUNNING BY HIMSELF .. SO bad .. saw 6 people walk out 3 parties of 2 because of bad service ! Lazy black manager talking to friends at bar talking socially and making herself a protein shake ignoring everybody... couldnt believe it .. wow . Embarassed for them really bad ..
