When you cant even do your "signature" shrimp, or french fries right, you have problems. First of all, this is a cool place.... to hang out or watch a game. If you want to eat, then stop somewhere before you get here. The shrimp, which are intended as a rip off of Bang Bang Shrimp are horrid. All breading tossed in some Asian chili sauce, and "lightly" (very lightly) drizzled with their Hurricane sauce. Im talking maybe 1/2 teaspoon, seriously. They were so bad, that I decided to test the kitchen before ordering an entre, so I ordered the "hand cut" Parmesan Garlic Fries. They were cold and wet. WET??? Yes, apparently they toss the french fries in BUTTER! Are you done laughing yet? Yes, butter. Very pissedoffedly I asked for the check, told the bartender the food sucked, and just a few short minutes later I was happily driving away from Hurricanes looking for a real restaurant to have dinner. Too bad cause they are in a primo location in San Marco. Guess I should have ordered the wings, cause nobody can screw up.... wait a minute, if it can be done they will do it here. Like the guy said below....."ITS A CHAIN!"

Visited the Jacksonville location. Service was ok, ap took forever to come out and was a sloppy mess of sauces. Entrees were very bland, my wife took two bites and spit the second one out. Crispy Grouper tacos not worth the tortilla they are served on. Ran out of salsa by 1230pm. Extra charge for garlic parm fries seems rediculious for what they are. The worst part was I was here with my children and wife and the TV had a very violent movie playing on multiple screens within view of not only my children but atleast 3 other families seated around us. I suggest to stay away from this location or they go back to there roots and stick to wings and beer.

Decided to try this restaurant based on reviews as I was passing through Jacksonville and it was one of the worst dining experiences Ive ever had. Our waitress knew nothing about the menu, and management was useless. Not only did our food come out wrong the first time, after sending it back it came out cold, and still incorrect. For an establishment that charges the amount they do for food Ive gotten better service from fast food drive-thrus in the middle of the night, at a quarter of the price.

This was my first time eating here and Ill sadly never come back. There were dead roaches in the bathroom, they brought out the wrong size appetizer, and my sliders were completely raw (to the point where you could see the individual strings of red ground meat) and barely browned on the outside.i hate complaining at restaurants but this time I had to because I couldnt even eat my meal.

Ive been to several Hurricane Grill & Wing restaurants and the food is always very good and this particular visit was no different. The issue I had was very slow service waiting sometimes 20 minutes for a beer refill when the restaurant was not busy. The visit was for a gathering of friends for a birthday so we all stayed but as a group we all experienced slow service.

I call in my orders from my job and go pick them up. Casey is the one who always takes my order. I deal with her when I go pick up the orders. She is the best person there in my opinion. She is very helpful and sweet. In the future I wont deal with anyone except her! The food is always good and excellent customer service is what keeps me going back!

If you where disappointed, then you should go to Hurricanes in Julington Creek!! Never have I ever heard of any of this madness going on there! Everything comes out flawless and taste delicious. Its not a "CHAIN" it is a franchise company!! Every store operates completely different. Julington Creek is my go to store in all of Jacksonville!

Service was okay but could be better... all the tables in the restaurant were dirty, like they dont get wiped off after each use. But the food food was good - boneless wings are great, parm n garlic fries are amazing but the sweet potato fries are never as good as I hope. They offer 25% military discount which is greatly appreciated.

Went in for lunch and had their buttermilk dipped battered chicken fingers and homemade kettle chips. Entering was very fresh and the chicken fingers were awesome! I wish there was a Hurricane Grill near my house in Atlanta. The place was clean and head a good atmosphere. Will be back when I visit Jacksonville again.

Service sucks besides a handful of servers me and my date ended leaving going down the block to Indochine delicious food very upscale great service..o yea by the way there are absolutely No gloves AT ALL used to cook ALL FOOD IS COOKED WITH NO GLOVES so enjoy your tasty food with extra ingredients

On my Hurricane Chicken salad I got previous day chicken on my salad. Each cut of the chicken was dried out as if over heated in a microwave. They did take it off the bill when I asked but no management showed their face to offer a new one on the house or anything. Service also slow.

We go probably once a month. It is your typical sports bar atmosphere decorated in the beach life and hurricane warning. Inside and outside seating. Wings are pretty good with a lot of flavor choices. One of my wife and Is favorites is the lime chicken salad. Excellent.

The wings here as good, if not better than just any other wing place out there. They mean jumbo when they say jumbo and even better, everybody there is super friendly. Bottom line, awesome place and Im from Chicago so believe me when I say Im a tough critic.

This place provides a great atmosphere and variety food options. Service is always on point in my visits here. Wings are outstanding as well as the burgers. The only thing I dont care for is the yellow rice and its just rice so Im not even mad.

First time visitor to Jacksonville. I had a Stormburger w/cheese & bacon and the chicken tenders tossed in hot wing sauce. YUM! And the two Bahama Mamas... YUM YUM!!!!!! Nice atmosphere, good music and a great crowd (Friday happy hour... 5:00pm)

Food was good, but not fantastic. My husband ordered the chicken blt tacos which were much better than my fish Baja tacos. Waitress was nice and fast service. We went to a concert down the street and parked in their parking lot. Great location.

I come here for wings, beer and football and itd exactly what I expect. If youre trying to get a Ruths Chris dinning experience I would avoid this place. Ive never had a bad time here. Think buffalo wild wings only better.

My last experience consisted of perfectly mixed drinks and grilled Mahi. The drinks were amazing but the fish came out way undercooked. My server immediately took it back and had a new plate made in no time.

Football Sunday gets packed but they have plenty of TVs and bucket of beer specials. A little pricey compared to other wing spots but the place is always clean and the servers are friendly and attentive.
