I usually have a good experience with this establishment until last week when I ate the meatloaf. It smelled funny but I took 2 bites of it.. one it was covered in barbecue sauce which isnt normal I smelled it again and it was indeed spoiled. I guess the barbecue sauce and French onions on top were supposed to keep it from smelling and tasting spoiled!!! Last time eating there and I was a frequent customer

Of course I love the Blu Diner, its been in Jax. For over 35 years serving homemade southern soul food. Like with any restaurant you have some dishes that are just key . The atmosphere for the most part is upbeat with a personal feel. Stop by and see for yourself. Everyone experiences is not the same..

The food is decent feels like home cooked however they take a lot of shortcuts when it comes to Preparing the food when you go to the restaurant like this youre not expecting to get pre-cooked Foods. But if thats what the people are accustomed to at home then thats what you get

The food is delicious and the portions are great. I definitely got my moneys worth. I noticed that the staff seemed eager to serve their patrons and that they kept a smile on their faces almost the entire time.

The dont give you your moneys worth, the container is a 5 dollar container they are charging 11, 12 or 13 dollars, my girl like the sweet potatoes, the only reason why I go there

Good food, best time to go is early, 11:30 a.m. when they open. Turkey Wings, Oxtails, Dressing, Candy Yams and Sweet Tea, the best items.
