The food was okay, we ordered the Phoenix, the Hunan Chicken and the General Tsos chicken. My family is a bit spoiled when it comes to Chinese food since we know so many good restaurants from our home in Chicago (try Lao Sichuan in Chinatown Chicago if you visit), it wasnt bad. The food was very warm, the woman clerk was very warm and pleasant. But I cant say I was very impressed by the food itself. I could have sworn that the Phoenix chicken and general Tsos were totally identical. The restaurant interior was tacky like all small Chinese places seem to be, but it clean and it was fine eating inside. We had our food brought to us warm.

I found this place by looking up Chinese takeout in the 33931 area here on Google. Read the review by Jerry placed on Jun 15th and decided to give it a try. Well, Id have to say this is the best Chinese Ive had in quite a while, if not ever. In quality Id put it over PF Changs (minus the atmosphere). On top of that, the cost is reasonable to cheep. Portions are large and the food comes in a plastic "microwave safe" container which is just cool. If you are looking for Chinese in the Sanibel- Fort Myers beach area Id say give this place a shot. You wont regret it.

I was visiting from out of town and couldnt find too many asian restaurants in the area and stumbled upon the Shanghai chinese take out. It is located in the strip mall. The restaurant was clean and staff were courteous. I ordered the Singaporean dry style curry noodles. It was authentic and full of flavor and 6 shrimps, along with numerous chicken strips. The portion was huge for the price. I can honesty say the ~$7 order was much better than dishes I had last night in a facy restaurants.

Staff was super nice with very fast service and really fresh food. Your order is cooked in front of you which is nice. We ordered 2 Sweet and sour chicken combos one with pork fried rice and the other with chicken fried rice. Everything was super hot in tempature. The Sweet and sour sauce was more on the sweet side with a good touch of citrus. I am super picky and I loved it. We got our food to go in about 7 minutes from ordering. I will definitely be back when in the area.

Busy restaurant with good service. We took our whole family and ate on site. Its got a small dining room but it was relatively clean. The kids really liked their food. I got the Mongolian Beef and wasnt impressed with the way that they cooked it compared to other places that Ive been. For the price though it was a good bargain and I thought the food overall taste and quality was about average. We would go back again.

The egg rolls are bland, the meat and chicken are so nasty. This is like prison chinese food if I had to imagine. You get a ton of nasty vegetables for the price. This is some of the worst chinese food I ever had.

I got salmonella poisoning from here in June 2016. Worst sickness Ive ever experienced, ended up in the emergency room! DO NOT EAT FOOD FROM HERE.
