Wonderful food, tarnished by poor service. I was there last week with a party of five, which included my wifes aunt of 80+ years old. Initially, I was a bit taken a back by the high cost of a single "empanada" which is a small turnover for $9, but then again, this is a pricey restaurant, so lets roll I said. We explicitly asked for our sodas without ice, due to special needs, including the elderly persons. So, the sodas came with Ice and we requested that we wanted sodas without ice. Next scene, within two minutes we spot the waitress, right behind our table, transferring the sodas through a sieve from one glass to the next. We just could not believe our eyes. A restaurant, where a turnover is $9 and a main dish well north of $20, saving a soda which costs them possibly 50 cents. After that, the food was very good, but when the check came, an 18% tip was already included. The restaurant states that any party of 6 or more will have the tip automatically included, yet we were a party of 5 and the restaurant decided to include the tip. We suspected a maneuver to avoid a low tip in response to the poor service. My wife thus went to speak with the restaurant manager, which for ten minutes was defending himself, to the point that he said he did not think that the problem with the table was too relevant. At this point my wife told him that if he did not know the true nature of the problem of the table, then obviously he was not doing his job very well. At this point the manager realized he had massively screwed up and offered up free brunches or whatever as we were walking out the door, but it was too late. Bottom line: Great food, but bad service. A manager that was colluding with his staff, provided bad service, yet forcefully wanted full tip.

Un lugar bonito sin duda y las carnes un espectáculo de sabores pero la experiencia que tuvimos este lunes fue muy triste , el servicio al cliente un asco empezando por la arrogancia de quienes dirigen el restaurante Que mal porque era mi favorito y el de mis amigos y familia pero desde hace un tiempo cambiaron todo todos los platos para peor y en menos cantidad él ceviche horrible, antes era mejor, el pulpo en mal estado, el postre más delicioso el balcarce y la esfera pero el balcarce de hace dos días cumpleaños de mi niña 5 de diciembre en la noche fue una completa decepción para mis niños, frutas descompuestas, decoración caótica y el balcarce llegó a nuestra mesa en derrumbe total y lo peor un cabello en el plato de mi esposo y encima el plato sucio Doy una estrella porque no tengo más opción restaurante descartado

Me invitaron a almorzar con mi esposo, el servicio estuvo bien la verdad no me puedo quejar y la comida muy rica, mal haría si me quejara de la comida. Pero pedimos solo agua con gas y 3 platos con un postre y la cuenta me pareció extremadamente costosa. Hay mejores restaurantes, con mejor vista y poder disfrutar un rico vino y pagar menos que lo que pago mi amiga este día! Xq sin la Propina fueron al rededor de 250 dólares!

Visité el restaurant por el día de las madres, y realmente me he quedado sorprendido por el mal servicio, tienes que comer contra reloj, pues te dan determinado tiempo para consumir, además es extremadamente caro para los precios actuales del mercado, sin contar que el local es reducido y con poco espacio, jamás regresaría a ese lugar de mal gusto.

Olivos Restaurant has great ambiance. The food is amazingly delicious! The staff is most friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. The prices are very reasonable for the upscale ambiance and quality of the food. When it is cool or breezy you can sit outside and enjoy the evening! All the pretty people seem to hang out at Olivos Restaurant... They are participating in Taste of Doral (tm) and Doral Restaurant Week (tm) with great menu specials... Manny Sarmiento -

Tengo muy mala impresión de este lugar, realice una reservacion para asistir al brunch y cuando llego me dicen q solo tengo una hora para comer porque tienen la mesa reservada, eso es inaceptable, deplorable customer service.

Muy buen servicio y atención la comida bien seleccionada fresco y sabores espectaculares los ingredientes de primera calidad. La comida es traída en unos platos bien decorados y los sabores ineditos. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Cheap ingredients does not make up for a nice decor. The food, especially the pasta and steak was way over cooked. Including, what tasted like artificial crab meat stuffed in the lobster ravioli. The staff is not knowledgeable and could not explain the dishes on the menu or accurately describe portion sizes. This place wants to be high end, but sadly it fails miserably. Wont be going back

Ordered to go with the Doordash app, I had the fried calamri & saffron seafood risotto. The calamri was ice cold, over cooked like rubber & had no flavor. The risotto was very flavorful but the portion was very small. Overall the risotto was just good but the calamari was some of the worst Ive ever eaten, most it went in the garabage.

I went to Olivos for dinner last Saturday and I was just amazed by their ambiance it was beautiful, the waitress was very attentive to our needs and kind, and the food was spectacular. Oh.. and did i say they had live music too? Well yeah the singer was really great! I will most definitely be coming back next Saturday for more :)

This is what a great restaurant is...service, food and location...Los Olivos have it all..if you go there, ask for Claudia...beautifull eyes and a superb attention to details...that, next to the excelent food and the amazing moscato will make you afternoon a pleasent experience without any doubt...

I was there 3 weeks ago and in general i have a good opinion from this restaurant. The food is good, the dishes presentation are delicate and classy . I heard that they have an excellent chef. Nice ambience and decoration. If it wasnt costly I will go more frequently.

Give it a 4.8 because there is always room for improvement! Best place in town, food is the best, staff is very professional and attentive and ambient is very comfortable! Love the Fathers Day Brunch! Cant go wrong and never disappoint, Los Olivos!
