Came here with a decent sized group but we split into several different tables. The beer selection is excellent and the food was okay. I believe our poor server was new because he looked like he was about to pass out a few times and was running around quite frantically. Had to flag him down more than once and remind him of missing drink orders. It was crowded but not crazy, so again I got the feeling he just wasnt too experienced. Im not the type to let one bad server change my opinion of a place so I would go here again if I were back in town.

horrible management the night of sat October 1st. Im a once a week customer in till now. will not ever go back. have a nice little video to post on Facebook and Twitter showing some of the saddest management to customer interaction your ever see. both the female and male mgr. on duty were mind blowing. remember halfwall, deland is a small town one problem can taint your image by the entire community.

Had the best time at Half Wall Beer House. The food was amazing the drinks were great and the service was the best. We had a manager come to our table to see if we needed anything and he even cleared our table. Our server was fast and on point with everything. The Half wall burger was the best burger Ive ever had. Definitely will be coming back again soon.

Food was fantastic. Albeit, a bit noisy when we went. There was a table near us of college kids who couldnt manage to find a lower volume to talk to each other at. Drink selection is pretty large, beer and wine a like. The scallops were tasty! As was the Greek Salad with the Portobello Mushrooms!

Just swung in for my fav buffalo chicken sandwich. The meal was awesome but the best part of this visit was Dylan ( our waitresses) aka "the Bob". She rocks in customer service and was super friendly and prompt. Come in for the food but got to ask for Dylan to enjoy it to the fullest!!!!

We really like this place a lot! Downtown DeLand is already such a charming and fun place to hang out and Half Wall Beer House only adds to this! Been there a few times already and each time the staff, food and of course the beer were all great! Well be back again soon. Ben

We go here often...good food, friendly service...always! Husband forgot wallet ...I did not bring purse..done eating..no money..our sweet waitress let us go home, get money and come back and pay...amazing!! The Half Wall has our patronage forever!

Great place for beer (craft and domestic), cocktails and bar food. Great local vibe, plenty of tvs and engaging staff. Family friendly and some outside seating. The grilled fish sandwiches and philly cheese steak are favorites.

Food is consistently good. Alcohol is over priced. Service is usually good. However.... do NOT pay with cash. The server rounds your tab up and keeps the loose change. Definitely not an acceptable policy.
