China Boy is a pretty solid spot for some authentic Chinese. Its almost comparable to the food you would get in NYC Chinatown. There arent a lot of menu options but their specialty is chow fun/churng fun, and I can see why. Its super fresh and has that perfect chewy/bouncy consistency. Not to mention, they have this sweet garlic chili sauce thats amazing and I drowned everything in it. Its sweet and tangy. The dumplings are also worth trying. The dumpling skin is super thin but enough to wrap around the abundant amount of pork filling, without ripping. This place is great for takeout, or a quick meal. If you decide to eat there, they have one gian table, and one small table. So youre not coming here for the atmosphere - just good food.

The portion of beef chow fun is HUGE. If you order with a side of fried pork dumplings it can feed 2 hungry adults. We ordered the beef and shrimp rice rolls in addition and we were ready to explode. Its definitely good value. Is it the best Ive ever had..? Probably not but having grown up with BCF all my life, I can be picky. If youre used to Americanized Chinese takeout. This is more authentic than what youre used to.

The steamed rice rolls are pretty authentic - just the right amount of chewiness. That being said, the soy sauce was disappointing. We Cantonese value soy sauce so much that we think it should be as important as the rice rolls. They probably used some generic products, slightly too salty but not sweet at all. I would still recommend this place though because the rice noodles are fresh.

This place is one of those hole in the wall places that specializes in one item. This place all about the rice noodles. We had the beef chow fun and beef tripe noodle soup. Both were good and very flavorful. Seating is very limited. There are two tables and a total of 8 chairs. China boy seemed like it was a good place to go, there was a constant stream of people coming in.

The curly haired server didnt feel like bringing napkin or fork to me. I asked her for tea, she didnt talk, only showed her back or looked at me with the corner of her eyes and poured the water roughly. Please dont spill your negativity all over my dining table. Im only here for few minutes.

Cash only, tiny and delicious! You might have to sit next to a stranger but youll make a new friend and eat some of the best chow fun in DC. A hidden gem that I dont even want to be sharing with you so I can keep it all to myself but that would be a disservice to this city.

Hole in the wall with freshly made noodles, taste good (a little on the salty side), small places not really an eat-in place but rather a take out place. Everything served in/on plastic when eat-in. Decent price and service.

Food is delicious and gets this place a 5 star! However, while we waited for our food, about 3 people in the back of the house had a LOUD argument the entire time. We were feeling iffy about whether our order would be made.

This is probably the most authentic and tasty Chinese restaurant within DCs Chinatown. There was no atmosphere or dining space, but their foon was delicious and extremely well priced. Just make sure you order it to-go!

Simple, no frills joint. Went with a bunch of co workers for lunch and we basically took the restaurant over. If youre looking for a simply great greasy spoon Chinese restaurant downtown, this is a great place to go.

So, first thing. Dont panic when you walk in. This place is sketchy. Its basically a counter to take orders and two tables. Give it a try, the food is great and authentic. If you are squeamish at all, wave off.

Authentic Chinese food in Washington DC. I recommend the beef noodle soup and pan fried dumplings. Ask for vinegar and chilli for the full experience. Friendly staff. Portion is big if you are Asian. Cash only.

Really good authentic chinese food! This is the place to go to if you care about the food and nothing else. There is rarely a place to sit and the food is not decorated, but the taste...OMG amazing!

As part of some sick joke, DC Chintown is full of terrible Chinese food. But China boy is the hidden gem; cheap, perfectly dingy, and absolutely delicious. Cash only - which is why I gave 4/5

Hole in the wall in Chinatown. They are famous for their rice crepe since they are the wholeseller in the area. However, I felt like the rice crepe is not that great in their own restaurant.

Decent prices, but you get what you pay for. The food is really poor quality and if you see the rats running in the alley behind the restaurant youll understand you dont want to eat there!

Fresh rice noodles are hard to find in DC. China Boy sells them, and theyre cheap and good. I havent eaten their food, only bought ingredients to cook for myself at home, but Im a fan.

The roast pork chow foon is AMAZING! Cant find many good Chinese restaurants in the Chinatown area. Place is well priced and good portioned. Just make sure to bring cash ;-)

Seriously good cheap eats. The roast pork cheong fun and the beef chow fun were solid. If I lived in DC I would have bought their fresh rice noodles to bring home to cook.

Really good place to have authentic Chinese food! Very small place. Be patient or take out! Remember to brings your cash! Based on my second experience, I recommend it!

Tiny 2-table, sticky-top takeout joint, but the beef chow fun sure hits the shot. And if you like tripe soup, this is one of the few places in DC proper to find it.

A great place. They will sell you a whole roll of fresh rice noodles still warm from the steamer for you to take home and cut up yourself if you ask them.

9 bucks for enough noodles to last me for lunch and dinner (big lunch and dinner at that). Tasty food in an unassuming hole in the wall in China Town.

Good quality Chinese food, the place is good to pick up and go, the only downside is the space it has inside to eat, it only has to tables.

FYI- very small space but the food makes up for it. Steamed dumplings and shrimp crepes are excellent. Menu is small but worth the trip.

They only accept cash, their service is awful, and their food gave me food poisoning. Not coming back here.
