Tell me if Im wrong: Im simply trying to figure out if Im wrong for making a order and got rushed through the whole process and the person on the phone was getting mad about it. I just wanted to understand him and tell him my address for about he 3rd time but he couldnt get it right. I was cool about it and didnt think any ill of it. Then I get my food about an hour and forty-five late, warm and the rice wasnt rice. I had ordered fried rice but I got brown. Also to mention when I called in to check in on the hour. They was kissed at me for checking in. So I called them back and told him he messed up my order, told him it was cold and I just want my fried rice delivered. He had the never to tell me that he wasnt going to do it and got loud and disrespectful with me for stating a customer service error on his end. After I got tired of the disresepect. Ive told him that he shouldnt be talking with me because I was being civil and level head and talking to me like that isnt a good look. He continued to talk very wreckers to the point that I wished I could of snatched him through the phone and smack him. So now we found a solution... he said he could deliver it and guess what he said what had to be done to get my rice? A delivery fee. Food cold, Arrived late and the order was messed up. How am I the bad person in this situation? So after I told him that wasnt an option and something has to be done. He then turns around and say. If I pull up the place its now $5 flat to get some rice. You Fn kidding me right? WOW! Food was aight 2.8/5 Service 0.3/5 Would I recommend another person to this place Ive been getting from for over 2 years. F no! Not a chance! That be the last time you run your mouth in a disrespectful manner and think my services is needed. From your end its really not but for me. You just lost me. Sincerely yours! The guy from up the block!

The other night I went on their website and ordered online, and then got a confirmation email and receipt that our order had been received. After waiting for an hour and a half, we called to ask where our food was. They told us that they had never received our order, and after having the same conversation for 3 minutes, they told us they would not be charging us for the order since they never received it. We gave our address and credit card information to them online, all very sensitive information, and they just simply did not receive our order, but they did nothing to try and make things right. They did not ask what they could do, made no attempt to take our order on the phone or even apologize. We called back a minute later after hanging up very annoyed, and gave them our receipt information. They then asked what our address was, and when we told them they responded by saying they did not deliver to this area. We live less than one mile away, within walking distance even. I work in the restaurant business, and was astounded at how little they tried to do to placate their customers.

I spent 40.00 on the worst food ever. My shrimp unedible and the French fries were even worse they were soaked in oil and cold as a visitor to DC I recommend to any other visitor to stay far away from this place. I ordered the Peking duck and a 21 piece shrimp that only has 16 pieces. And Peking Duck usually comes with a Asian style pancake not a flour tortilla that was dry and hard save your money and go somewhere else and definitely dont order to go. Worst place ever.

As far as portions go, they are well sized -- from my experience they are light on side vegetables on meat plates and heavy on vegetables and light on meat on mixed dishes. For 2 main dishes and 2 sides, my bill quickly escalated to 45 dollars (including delivery/tip) on seamless -- so not necessarily the cheapest chinese food in town, but the food wasnt bad.

I would give less than a star if I could. My food took 2 hours to get to me, it was cold, crab Rangoon was soggy, chicken was too tough to eat and when I called to complain the manager he was rude and refused to refund even half my money! Terrible business!

Have been getting takeout from Peking Garden for about four years. Always friendly over the phone and consistent delivery times. The food is reliably good. The vegetarian (TVP) options are a viable alternative to the meat menu.

I walked in quite hungry. they recommended to me "Chefs Special #50 - General Tsos Chicken". It came with white rice. the whole portion was quite large. I enjoyed it.
