Great food and amazing HH drink and food menu that ends at EIGHT pm (say what!?). My college and I went here on a Monday and apparently it was their HH so we ordered the calamari (I think it was $6) and a dozen of oysters ($1.50/each). The calamari was fresh but nothing particularly special about them but the Blue Point oysters, however, were fresh and tasty. I decided to order the lamb chop app since I saw lots of amazing photos and reviews but unfortunately there was nothing special about it (I believe it was $9 for one chop or $17 for two) and still rather pricey for a HH item (I get it, its a chop but still!). For main entrée, I ordered their 12oz NY strip special with potato au gratin and sauted spinach. This dish was excellent as it was cooked to order (medium rare) and everything on the plate was flavorful. My colleague recommended this entrée as he had it the previous night so its safe to say that their food is pretty consistent. This time my colleague ordered the seafood coippino (stew) and it comes with a side of pasta. He said it was great. At first I was discouraged to dine here by the reviews on Yelp regarding their service. It was a quite Monday night so the restaurant was pretty empty. Our waiter was tentative so our overall dining experience was good. Id highly recommend this place for dinner/HH and its so close to the White House so perfect tourists.

Catch 15 is a rare and precious gem. Small plates seem to be the style but the food is delicious without being too pricey. Catch 15 is quite a classy place but it does not attempt to be ultra-chic. This is a place where you can easily meet friends for an after work drink BUT you can just as easily bring friends for a cozy Saturday night out Singles can sit at the bar without feeling that you you are at the usual "meat market".. The back of this restaurant has a contemporary styled lounge area giving it the feel of a nicely appointed living room. I truly hope that this establishment will stay with us. It is extremely well located being about 1 block away from McPherson Metro Stop (15th St.) as well as being highly accessible by a number of buses. All ages will enjoy this place. Do yourself a favor and give it a try!!!

We just hosted our department holiday lunch party at Catch 15 and couldnt have been more pleased with the whole experience. Kristin, the events manager, took care of us from the very start and worked with our budget - and was professional, friendly and accommodating to our needs. We didnt have to bring much decor as the the restaurant was already decorated so elegantly (dark panels/candles)- and it really set the tone for our party. The food assortment we selected - sliders, bacon wrapped scallops, pasta arrabiata (personal fave!), bruschetta were delicious and gone within seconds. The servers were warm and professional - and we didnt feel rushed at all. We all work around the corner and talked about coming back again for lunch or happy hour. Great place to host events or just grab a bite!

Stopped here for a Friday happy hour. I was pleased with the selection of HH drinks and specials (many of the latter were small plates off the menu). I really enjoyed the scallops with passion fruit sauce, while the bacon-wrapped shrimp were a bit overcooked. The value is also good for small seafood plates in DC. I wish I could give this place a higher number of stars, but our waiter seemed overwhelmed by the number of people in his section by 6:30pm. After the place started getting busy, it was nearly impossible to get his attention - I ended up having to go to the bar to get another menu when we decided to get more drinks. Add wait staff and Ill be back.

Couldnt quite grasp the concept of the menu, although by the name of the restaurant, one would infer that it is a seafood restaurant. (Oysters, Spanish (tapas), Lebanese-ish...? Quite the mixing bowl...) The venue is small, somewhat hidden and the food was mediocre... its probably a good place to have a secret rendezvous though! Food ordered: Al Pescador (vibrant flavor~ my fave dish out of everything we ordered), Paella de Mariscos, Ground Lamb Kabob, Spanish Octopus Escabeche, Calamari Pan Roasted (spray on the lemon!), and Grilled Beef Filet and Portabello. Recommendation: Stick to the oyster happy hour and drinks!

Service was very poor and slow. The food was ok, I ordered shrimp scampi and I only got 3 shrimp arms they had to special order my food because I didnt like anything on the menu. Parking was horrible, attended my girlfriend dinner party on Saturday night and was told Valet was going to be$10. When I arrived no parking attendant present and was told Calet parking was $29 needless to say I found Valet parking around the corner for $12. We sat down for dinner @ 8pm and our main course was not served until 9:30...Atmosphere was nice and I enjoyed my time with my girlfriend...but I would never go back there.....

On my first day at The Washington Post, my team took me to Catch 15. Its an oddly fancy sit down restaurant among a sea of fast casual restaurants nearby. Its a perfect spot for a business lunch. The decorations are DC regal, the food decent, and the service attentive. Its a seafood heavy restaurant, but it has several good options for non-seafood lovers like me. I ordered the garlic chicken and it was filling and decent. If you need a quiet place for a business meeting, its a good spot. Otherwise, I recommend other nearby places if good food is what you want.

This Italian restaurant was a true find. The service was stellar and the food was outstanding. The manager, Fessaha, kept the restaurant running smoothly through the entire evening. He accommodated our party of 5 and made sure that we were comfortable and well served. We enjoyed the Calamari Arrosto, Salume Antipasti, and the Mozzarella Fritti. The kids had the spaghetti with meatball, the fettuccine alfredo, and the chicken parmigiana. I highly recommend this restaurant - the food and service are second to none.

The food here is fine, the ambiance is very nice and classy, but I do not recommend hosting an event here. I was planning a dinner for a council I run at PBS, and we took them to dinner here. The setup was incomplete and not what wed agreed upon. The staff is friendly, but requires a lot of extra management on your part to confirm and confirm again they will follow through on what they said they would do.

I love the oysters, but the service was a 2 or a 1.....we had to wait several minutes to get our drinks and then they forgot plus the table next to us. We never got water when we asked for water....and it was very confusing when we had several people waiting on us, it almost seem they were more interested on talking to each other then serving. Overall great food but they need to work on service....

No salt or pepper shakers are placed on the table because the chef knows how to season his food perfectly. Fantastic service with a beautiful ambiance and phenomenal food. I had the chicken parmegiano & someone else in my party had the crab ravioli both were fantastic, we cleaned our plates! Only thing is that portions are pretty small, or maybe theyre so good you can never have enough!
