Prior to being able to post this review, I was forced to choose between "Its ok" and "Liked it" - dont go by the stars on the review! I was at the diner this morning. Our first choice was Georges Diner, right down the road. It was 9:45 a.m. and the parking lot was packed, so we decided to go to Marsh Road Diner. The fact that by 10:00 a.m. on a Saturday, the place was empty, was a warning sign to me, having been in food service, and especially BREAKFAST food service. I had been there several times before and not been impressed at all, but figured since there was no wait.... Well, theres a reason for that. Long story short, our waitress was terrible. Taking over 7 minutes to even offer coffee, bringing out the WRONG order, not offering coffee refills, and LITERALLY SITTING WITH ANOTHER TABLE FOR 10 MINUTES after our "wrong" order was delivered. She never came to check on us. When we left, my husband told the manager about our experience and he could not have cared less. He didnt ask for details, apologize for our experience, or even offer to pay for our coffee as a result of our bad experience. I wouldnt even consider working here, as clearly, the management has no concern for customer service. My husband wrote an explanation on the check for why the tip was so low, which Im sure they never read. There has been a sign outside for "help wanted" for well over a year - Im looking for work at the moment and wouldnt even think about working there. I will never set foot in there again. On top of that, the Womens room is disgusting, and theres a hand-printed sign saying to "Knock loudly - the lock doesnt work" - heres a thought - spend the $20 and FIX THE LOCK!!! Now I know why at 10:00 on a SATURDAY MORNING - which is RUSH time if your a DINER, this place was empty. Well gladly wait, and take our money elsewhere.

I usually come here a lot but today my meal came out totally wrong. I politely asked for them to change it and they did. However the manager made a disgusting annoyed face at us. NEXT, at the end of my new sandwhich I found a big black hair. The manager was even more rude and walked away as I was talking to him. They have now lost two awesome customers. So many better places near it, go somewhere else instead.

Being knew to the area i decided to try this diner based off of reviews and im so mad at myself for doing so. I ordered an veggie omelette that comes w/hashbrowns and toat and the only thing good about my meal was the toast. With all the veggies included in the omelette, it lacked taste, was quite runny and veggies were hard which msde it difficult to eat. My 1st & last visit.

Theyre open 24/7 and are located on Marsh Road at Philadelphia. I understand they are going to open a 2nd Diner 30 blocks away at Marsh & Veale Roads in the existing Pizza Hut. Its also going to be open 24/7 like the original site. Luckily for me, I can now walk across the street for any meal. Ill miss all the Pizza, Salad and Bread sticks you can eat from 11am-2pm for $5.99.

Cant help but love this place. Sure, its pretty much your stereotypical diner, and yeah if you grew up in Wilmington youll pretty much run into anyone youve ever known, but its great. Id make the inside a little more appealing and the bathrooms are gross, but the food is great. Nothing better than the two eggs scrambled with homefries and bacon on a Saturday morning.

Ive been there twice so far, once for breakfast and once for lunch. BOTH times, the owner and staff have been incredibly friendly and wonderful. The breakfast (biscuits and gravy) was amazing, and their Reuben sandwich is just like the ones I used to have in New York. I cant stay enough how much I love this place!!

Been coming to Marsh Road Diner for years. Enjoy their breakfast, and dinners. Good hot wings... I am changing my rating and removing a few stars: they must have a new supplier of chicken wings; seriously disappointed with the micro wings they sell now. I have seen bigger wings on a pigeon! :(

Must try this place if you are around Delaware I came from Virginia and I can say that my visit was worthwhile also the owner mama makes you feel welcome into the place she treated the construction workers for food which was amazing of her to do great ace on the food no complains great taste

I drive a limo so my hours switch constantly. I called ahead and placed an order. This was 730 pm on a Friday. My food was ready by the time I finished signing my c.c. receipt. That was 11 minutes since I called! Awesome food, awesome staff, and awesome service!

The food is good. Burgers and fries leave something to be desired, but anything else Ive ordered there has been great. Also quick service for the most part. I can place an order and pick it up in 10 minutes with no issue. Dine in is also relatively quick.

SUPERB FOOD, absolutely excellent food. Better than La Casa Pasta or other gormet resteraunt. Hard to believe this is a diner. I have eaten all over but I have not found such a place where they take such care with their food to make every dish amazing.

They have they best creamed chip beef around no matter what time it is. However, this isnt fast food, but it is good food. If you are hungry at night and dont mind waiting for a decent breakfast, Marsh Diner is your place.

The waitresses are airheads.......... Food was super cold and our bill was $30.00 for 2 for a cheesteak and a bacon cheeseburger and 2 drinks... It will bea while before I go back if I EVEN GO BACK
