Man oh man where do I begin... Upon arrival we were seated in a spot I thought to be appropriate considering we brought my 15m old with us. The server came to us and we ordered our sodas, I had sierra most and I think she got sweet tea of some sort, "which later on when she got a refill she said it watered down " I dont know if its Rehoboth s water but my sierra mist had a chemical after taste to it. Still drank it though. When we ordered she got French toast and I ended up getting some chicken over pasta with what they call hot and spicy red sauce. With that I got soup and she got hash brown. The soup was actually very delicious so I thought maybe this place would pull through. Our dishes came out and when I looked at my plate I knew it wasnt going to be pleasant by presentation... The noodle : was the only thing on this dish that tasted correct. The chicken: the meat was rubbery, and was almost... Processed like. It wasnt a single piece of breast meat either, it was multiple smaller pieces... The mushrooms : canned The bell peppers : were actually pretty good The sauce: TERRIBLE. almost like that off brand that tries to be chef boyarde, super bland no flavor and whats worse: it wasnt hot and spicy- at all- no heat what so ever, I had to ask for tobacco . picture a can of tomatoes. Remove tomatoes and drain juice into dish. Add corn starch to thicken. That was my sauce. The half slices of cherry tomatoes : since it was mainly bland, the acidity from the tomatoes clashed with the dish. I ate part of one piece of chicken and then focused on the noodles. I never in my life have left a plate that much Un eaten. MY SON got turkey and gravy with both mashed potatoes and French fries. I had to try what he was eating The turkey : it was actually pretty good. Not to dry. Tasted like it was cut off of a Thanksgiving turkey. The fries : I didnt try them but my girlfriend said they were also good - kind of typical of you ask me. The potatoes : honestly... It tasted like they ordered KFC potatoes in terms of flavor, but not as soft as Id like mashed potatoes to be. Gravy : this stuff seemed to suffer what my sauce suffered. Had very decent flavor, sadly it was very oozey like, again, as of corn starch was added to give it thickness. I read these reviews as I was powering through my meal. And as I read it became clear as I begun to observe my surroundings. The floor was dirty, our table had a Cigarette butt under it. And the owner. Your typical fat $h!t lazy management that seems to over work his staff. He just sat there in his booth at the end closest to the kitchen door and register. Didnt ask any of his customers how things are. Its almost as if he knows its bad and cant have the piper. I got that vibe off of my server that she was not happy to work there and put on a smile to cover how she really felt, and that her tips and paycheck are what fueled her to work on a Sunday of memorial day weekend. Bless her soul for the effort but they really need more staff. As for the kitchen crew, I wish kitchen nightmares still existed and Gordon Ramsay could assess whats going on back there because Im pretty sure the food is canned, over frozen, and nuked. The owner doesnt deserve that business. I feel like they stole the $50 we paid for that sad excuse for a meal. A TRUE Diner experience is either the Stargate in Seaford Delaware, coming in second which is pretty much over part with quality and overall great experience. And finally the HARVEST Diner in Georgetown, with amazing staff, and a wonderful busser who is deaf but extremely friendly. I have never gotten terrible bland food at either of those establishments. Rehoboth diner however. 1/10,

We stopped on our way home around 11:30 am on a Sunday and it was packed (usually a good sign right?), but it was truly pretty awful. My advice: turn around and go back to IHOP. The food came out very slow (isnt a diner supposed to be quick?) and was poor - the bacon was a weird brownish color (how do you screw up bacon?), the omelet used canned mushrooms and the cheese was nonexistent so it had little to odd flavor. The hash browns were doused in grease. The waffle was decent and the only redeeming item however the strawberries served to us had no joke, 6 "top" slices with the green stem showing so obviously we didnt eat those pieces. I lined them up on the plate and when the server came to clear, she said "I see the waffle was delicious" and I couldnt tell if she was being sarcastic or not. Like I said, I would NOT recommend this place at all. We went in saying, who can screw up a diner breakfast? Well, they did.

We stopped for early bird dinner twice this week. Monday - waitress was truly awesome! Food VERY, very good - chicken parm - 2 pieces, pasta cooked perfectly, excellent, warm dinner rolls; salmon - cooked perfectly; kids meal perfect but does not come with a drink. Thursday - waitress - average, paid attention to male customers rather than us (a family), she brought them rolls and asked if they wanted Parmesan cheese (not us); kids fish - plain and dry, chicken parm - only 1 piece but okay; pork chops were very salty, small and dry. Oh yeah - chicken SOUP was amazing both days. We stop here at least once every year and despite some negs on Thursday we WOULD recommend this diner to others! Be advised to ASK nicely for your meal to be fixed right away if you are not satisfied. The hostess both days was terrific. ASK for meal to be fixed right away if you are not satisfied. Waited about an hour to be seated. Watched manager belittle several customers. Was seated and then ignored for an additional 15 minutes. Waitress finally made it to our table. We were able to place our order, watched people who were sat down after us order and get their order. We got up to walk out and I asked to pay for the coffee and chocolate milk that we had already been served. We explained to the manger that we had sat down over 45 minutes earlier and still no food. She gave us a line that they were waiting on toast. However, the table that was now enjoying their meal, had plenty of toast. Why does Delaware not know how to make toast. How long were they waiting on toast, and was our other food now cold from waiting on the toast? Wanted to try a local establishment for our final meal on vacation. Stopped at a bob Evans for better food and price.

We arrived in the middle of torrential rain. As soon as we walked in, one of the servers said to the hostess something about they couldnt do this it was too much. She was very rude to the hostess, say nothing about acting that way in front of customers. We asked for a table for 4 and the server once again was rude and said no. The hostess told us it was at least a 20 min wait and emphasised the AT LEAST several times. Half the tables in this place were empty. She explained that a 13 top just sat down and they couldnt get to us. Im not saying we should have been sat but things should have been handled much more professionally. Go to IHOP, thats what we did. Service at IHOP was exceptional and they were staffed to handle more than 13 people at a time.
