not satisfied with service. The menu looked good but wasnt able to get past it because I didnt feel comfortable dining in a place where they take more than 5 minutes 2 greet you and then once they did do it half-heartedly, not even introducing themselves, they go and serve cheerfully customers at a different table who arrived after you. It wasnt a nice feeling. I WISH i could have tried the food at least because it looked good, but i dont think anyone should have to put up with being treated unfairly. It is the 21st century. be careful about this place, i wouldnt say dont go or do go, but i didnt have a good experience there. i hope hope hope that it was just a bad day for the waitress or perhaps she was friends with the family that she served before me and my sister and not an act of prejudice because that would be terrible.

GH has a nice variety of sandwiches and salads. I have even had a wonderful double pork chop for dinner....but seafood is not their strength. Their crab cakes leave a great deal to be desired which is a shame in a coastal area. My other concern, which often keeps this restaurant from being my first choice is the tendency to over season the food and thicken their soups so much your spoon nearly stands straight on its own. Just wish they could correct these couple of things!

The food is great! try the crab soup with a beer or white wine. I eat here at least once or twice a month. The staff is very friendly. The do large parties upstairs. Its a great view of downtown Milford. In the spring/summer, take advantage of the outside patio. When you are finished dinner, take a walk down main street!!

Sorry to say we waited 10 minutes without even a "we will be with you soon." Not even a glass of water. Wasnt that busy...but we saw one waitress leave & then workers chatting in the back room...only left one waitress in front. We had to leave. It was my 3rd visit. Last 2 were a little better.

Our waitress Mary did not provide us with the expected service. She was never around for our drinks, never informed us that there were no more rolls, and took a long time to ask us for our orders. Food tasted great though.

Food is great. Cream of crab soup wow. One of my favorite places BUT when a group of us called we asked to put tables together they were very rude. No reservations ok yet 2 years in a row it WAS done for us. Just saying

Georgia House has the best ribs, pretzel salad and sweet potato casserole I have ever had! They also have excellent salads and other great food. Great atmosphere, one of our families favorite restaurants to go to!
