The Village Deli is an excellent place for food. The deli itself is decorated pretty neatly with old skis that surround the eating area and the eating area is always clean and well lit. There is one t.v. that is normally on with the volume set loud enough to catch your attention if something interesting come on, but is not so loud that it will drown out a conversation you maybe having. Almost everyday the deli has a special that is completely different from the normal menu. The menu itself has a good variety of choices that should (see below) satisfy most anyone that goes there. They use Boars Head meat for their sandwiches and offer different types of dressings and sides. Alot of their dressings, side and sauces are homemade. The only thing that I dont like about this deli is that they do not have a good selection of veggitaren options. If I decide to get something for dinner from here I also have to plan a difference stop to pickup something for my fiance.

We went there based on the reviews that they had a wide variety, but that wasnt our experience. They had the minimal supplies that youd expect of any deli - one kind of turkey, one kind of ordinary mustard. The basic rundown of Boars Head meats and cheese, but nothing more. You can get a decent lunch here, but if youve been to a real deli this will be a letdown. Ill try to give them the benefit of the doubt by mentioning that we were there in June, so its possible they were in bare minimum stock mode until their Winter season, but thats just a guess.

Its a deli, its alright for what it is, nothing fancy but they do have a lot of options to choose from. My biggest issue is the bread choices, they are terrible! Also, the lack of service (not very helpful or friendly) they seem pretty grumpy and irritated that you are in front of them and they have to do something... If you just need a sandwich and not wanting to pay restaurant prices, then this is an option but honestly you are better off going to Jersey Mikes

Great deli shop. Came here after visiting the state park and was so happy with finding this place. Have a wide assortment of food. For the price, huge portions! The onion rings are delicious!

This is a great deli with very fresh food and a great staff. Their Sandwiches are large and tasty. Expect to pay a little more than Subway but its certainly worth it!

Absolutely the best place to grab lunch in the Poconos. Their cheesesteaks are amazing! Great selection as well! Be prepared for little/no cell service however.
