Ate here about a year ago. first off, there was only 2-3 people at the bar, a table with 6 or so out of staters, & us (my husband & I). the large table got ALL of the attention. they were checked on every 2 minutes like clockwork. while my husband & I had to wait 10 minutes to just put in our drink orders. After another 10+ minutes, my husband ordered a sashimi salad, while i ordered an Udon bowl. simple fast to make items. it took them a 1/2 hour to bring out his salad! & on top of that, it was a side salad portion. the sashimi was WARM. im STILL surprised he didnt get sick from it. by time he finished his "entree" salad, we were still waiting on my soup. & in this whole time, the waitress never once visited us to refill out fountain drinks! another 10 minutes passed & he had to flag down what had to be the owner. We got NO apology. they finally sent my soup out & it was tolerable. more broth than anything else. & of course, no longer hot. I ate & we left. & in all that time, they STILL never refilled our drinks or anything. NEVER going back & ive made damned sure to let people know not to eat there, & will continue to do so

Argueably my favorite sushi resturant. People complain that I eat here too often, but Ive eaten at sushi resturant like Joes sushi and oiishi sushi many times, and even at the competitor restaurant by albertson, and let me say ohama is my favorite of all sushi places I have been to, great tasting sushi, very formal staff, amazing service even Durning busy days, and excellent price curve. The best rolls that keep bringing me back are baked California roll, pizza roll and mountain roll. I cant stop eating there enough and I probably wont stop either. Always get the tempura rolls, for those are the best ones in taste and presentation. As a sushi enthusiast ohama is argueably the tastiest sushi I have eaten, regardless of the time it takes. They dont rush because they do it right.

Ohama is a family run business and the family is very pleasant. The rolls are creative. I recommend getting the New Century Roll. When we go we always get about 6 rolls. The Gator, The Matsuri, The Atlantic, The Rainbow Roll, The Samurai and a salmon/avocado. The gyoza (dumplings) are very tasty. If you like wasabi (like me!) get the Sumai. Just watch when it comes out hot, the temperature and the wasabi heat give a kick. Service: Keep in mind that service is limited. The same person that is making your drinks is making the food in the kitchen while sushi is being made in the dining area. It is definitely worth a visit, just do not go if you are in a rush. Relax, have a drink and get an appetizer if they are busy.

Sushi was good - but everything else was just a disaster. I have never had flat beer from a can... and twice, the beer was flat, needed to get bottles instead. When talking to the server, she practically finished my sentence when I told her the issue with the beer - tells me this is a common occurrence. Service was extremely inattentive - both servers were interested in other things, not their customers. We had to ask for our salads to be brought out. I think they may only have one sushi chef, took forever to get our two dishes - again, sushi was good, but everything else sealed their fate. Top it off with a bill for $100 - we wont be visiting again.

I love getting sushi here. I know the family who owns the business and they are very sweet! My favorite roll is the spicy crunchy tuna roll, and the mexican roll. The service is good, although it does take a bit for food to be made and drinks to be served because the server is also helping around with other things. By far, the best sushi I have ever had and would recommend anyone to come here and to take the time to enjoy the dinner because they are not in a rush at all; otherwise, do take out!
