METHED-UP MEAL AT MIDDLETOWN FAMILY DINER. Our server was quite obviously on meth. She weighed about 100 pounds and couldnt stop moving, making erratic gestures whenever she was at our table. And, no surprise, she messed up our order. It took 45 minutes to get our food because our meth-head server "forgot" to put our order in, and when we got our food, she almost dropped a plate in my sons lap and gave my husband the wrong toast. When she brought him the right toast 5 minutes later, she knocked over the creamer on our table. As we were leaving, all diners at the tables around us were exchanging looks with us because they were having similar experiences with this meth-head server. I suggest Middletown Family Diner consider drug testing for their employees because clearly that particular server has a big problem.

we are breakfast here and only a couple of people here and still took 20mins to take our order and while my wife was eating she bit into a huge piece of plastic and then the manager at first said no its not and it was 6 inches long and she took it to the kitchen and then took it off the bill and then we heard a gentleman behind us complain about his gravy being like water and the waitress did not even care. I will not be back here ever

Nice friendly staff, and good soups and good desserts (pies/cakes), but after eating there multiple times, I have yet to find an entree that was better than a 4 or 5 on a scale of 1 to 10. The chicken is rather tough and leathery, and the other meat entrees (beef and pork) tend to be overly salted. Good soups though! And really good pecan pie (when they have it in stock)!

Awesome food!!! Came really fast as well. Not so great service; not offered a 2nd cup of coffee, given the bill at first bite, never asked how our food was. Ordered a breakfast combo... eggs, toast,bacon,homefries all served on one plate with no side plates. Would visit again if I didnt have the same server.

OMG order the Mega fries! We did...they came out on a platter piled high and smother with cheddar cheese and chopped slices of bacon. Delicious! Probably shortened my life span due to their sheer awesomenes. Serves a generous portion for 4 people. The crab cakes were swell also.

The owner is a criminal. We originally got a bill for 17 dollars and when he ran my card the bill said 20. When I questioned him he said "do you want to fight about it". I absolutely will not be coming back ... watch your bill if you eat here!

I love this restaurant! It is quiet and laid back. The food is inexpensive & delicious. I really like their pizza they just came out with & I love the fact that you can order breakfast all day there. =)

My server was not attentive, more interested in chatting. More senior server asked if I needed anything and they told my server. During at the bar, not many customers, so no excuse.

The service was ok but the food was a joke. I made the mistake of ordering lasagna it was runny. My Fiances spaghetti looked like noodles and ketchup. Never again will we eat here.
