I would have given it a 1 star based on my food alone but my families dishes were good and the server was friendly. The Crab Soup was excellent according to my Brother. My Mother shared her leftover Seafood Platter the next day which was also very good, especially the fried scallops. Now for my Bacon Cheeseburger and fries, YUK! How can you screw up a burger? By using frozen, pre-formed oval burgers. I asked for well done, expecting a little crunch around the edges, what I got was an absolutely flavorless, lukewarm , gray, sponge with an unmelted piece of cheese and a piece of overcooked bacon under the cheese on a less than fresh kaiser roll. This was an $8.00 burger! They used to have the best fries, crispy and seasoned, now they are just regular fries and they could have spent a little longer in the fryer. A place like this should have an excellent burger and there are better frozen burgers out there. Are they under new ownership?

The only restaurant in the little town of Magnolia, theres admittedly not much competition, but this little place is quite nice. I come here regularly with friends for breakfast (never been here for lunch or dinner) and the food is served fast and yummy. The building could use a bit of TLC, but it seems clean, and the wait staff is friendly and accomodating.

We went in Sunday 10/4/2015 about 10am and sat down in a booth. About 15 min. later and 3 other couples coming in and were taken care of we got up and left. No one seats people and they have no idea who came in when. Will not return. I can handle so so fun but not to be ignored. Same your money.

They seated us immediately, got our drink orders quickly, the food came very fast as well. The people were very friendly and sweet. And overall a pleasant atmosphere with good food.

This is a "ma and pa" neighborhood restaurant with great food at great prices. If you go on the weekend make sure you try to cream of crab soup.
