When you walked into Nectar, it reminds you of a Panera. Casual dining. Its a pleasant environment. We ordered at the registered, as there was no sign that said otherwise. We were not asked if we planned to dine in or take out. We placed our order and found a seat. As we waited an extremely long wait, we were asked several times if we needed a menu. We kept denying the menu, as we expected to hear our name being called. We were then told the way we ordered was for takeout. When we explained that we were not aware that we ordered take out, they said "thats okay". We did not plan to order pancakes for takeout. We waited another 15 minutes, thinking wed get to eat in, only to find out we were giving a bag filled with takeout. We werent given syrup or utensils. Putting all that aside, the Blueberry pancakes were just okay. The syrup was not good. It was a very bland blueberry sauce. It was like flavored water. The sausage was burnt and hard to cut with the plastic knife. The yam side dish had no flavor and was also overcooked. The breakfast sandwich was delicious but extremely messy. The tomato was hanging half way out and it looked as if they didnt care about presentation. I will not be eating at Nectar again.

Quiet, cozy, warm little (but not small!) cafe hidden away. We went in off season, on a March monday morning. Take your choice of couches, small tables, bar, or window seating and browse through a selection of juice cocktails. We got the Root Juice and Morning After. Root juice was earthy and slightly sweet, could definitely tell I was getting my vitamins. Morning after was refreshing, sweeter, and lighter. Our waitress also dropped off a small glass of some extra juice from another order for us to sample. Just one example of the bubbly, comfortable service we got (thanks Erika!). The food, in a word, devine. The breakfast sandwich made my legs go weak, luscious meats and cheese on a MULTIGRAIN croissant wth slice of tomato. We also have the avocado toast and it blew us away. Cannot even describe the subtle savory and slightly sweet comfort of the avocado toast and all that it contained. #blessed to have found this spot.

I almost templed not to publish my review about this place, because I selfishly want it all to myself. Me and my family love this little place and make a point to have breakfast or lunch there every time we are in Lewes. The place its uniquely decorated, always clean and staff is friendly. It is a half the battle in my book. The food in Nectar is really worth a separate discussion. The juices are fantastic ( freshly made for you on the spot), good selection of local beers, salads are incredible and french toast is to die for. Thats it, go and check yourself. You will thank me later. Bon appetite!

Awesome experience. Juice was great--creative combinations and my wife and I ordered the power something sandwich--basically Ezekiel bread with a ton of veggies and humus--was great. Our server Alan (and most likely the manager from what we could tell) was everything youd want from a server. Perfect service. Also overheard him helping a co-worker and giving advice--truly leading his staff by example. I know these are a little over the top examples--but coming from management myself--Id hire him on the spot for everything he does!

Nectar is our families favorite place to dine! Everything on the menu is delicious and healthy! Being gluten free can make eating out a challenge, but at Nectar, I can even have a piece of gluten free carrot cake that is to die for!! The decor is lovely and I have no idea why one reviewer compared it to Panera, because I see no resemblance whatsoever! (Food or decor) It is often very busy, so there can be a bit of a wait for your order, but its such a nice place to spend some time, that we never mind the wait!

Very tasty and filling! Veggie burger can be made vegan. Definitely accommodating for vegans. Sweet potato hash was not what we were expecting. It was just okay. Large chunks of potatoes with small pieces of onion and red pepper. Was expecting shredded potatoes. Tried the metal detox juice. Waaaay too much cilantro but in their defense it was the first ingredient listed on the sign. Hopefully I feel detoxed for the $8 I spent!

Salmon bagel was horrible. They gave you so much salmon it was just too overpowering. Dont bother getting the green juices they arent harvested from local Farms that are grown sustainably and organically so all youre getting is a bunch of pesticides. Also a little overpriced if you ask me. Interior is nice has a lot of potential if they got a new chef and got good ingredients better off and juicing your own vegetables.

We had breakfast at Nectar Cafe and Juice Bar on our last day. So sorry that we didnt find it earlier. We were so impressed with everything from the decor, staff and especially the menu selections. We cant wait to go back and experience the lunch and dinner choices. Staff does an outstanding job welcoming guests and making them feel at home. We loved the place! Well be back in August.

Literally the only place I can get a beet pineapple ginger juice done right. The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy and the food..... F%*#ing amazing! they have come a long way since their first year open and every year it gets better and better. Healthy food has never tasted so damn good and even my kids are stoked when I tell them we are going to Nectar.

A Yummy-lishious place to stop! I always get the Heavy Metal Detox juice, and when I am ready for lunch. This is always the first place I think of. The chicken salad is the best in town. A must stop while in Lewes, if even just for a pick me up juice. Dont forget to bring your friends to the cute spot with lots of charm.

Ate here twice and both times have been excellent. Food is fantastic, great quality and flavors. Service has been consistently great. Root Juice has a good, not too sweet taste. The Avocado Toast is a great breakfast choice. The omelets are cooked very well. Highly recommended for Breakfast/Lunch.

We have eaten at Nectar at least 10 times. We have had most of the items on the menu. There is no place like it!! It is definatly the best restaurant in Lewes. A tall order because Lewes has some great restaurants!!! The French Toast is incredable, and the Green Eggs and Ham is even better!!!

We have been here several times and the aroma inside is wonderfully good. Their fresh custom juices are the best, so full of flavor and goodness. I love the American Breakfast with perfectly cooked eggs, sweet potatoes, bacon, and toast. Espresso was very good tasting.

1st time there today for me and was not impressed by the customer service or the fact that I paid $8 for a juice that was mostly foam because they blended the crap out of it. I will definitely not go back. Quite disappointed. I really wanted to like this place.

Best breakfast period that I have had at the beach. Stopped in Tuesday morning on my way to Bethany with one of my sons and the food was outstanding. Will be back with the rest of the family. The juices are off the charts and everything is farm fresh.
