You simply cannot get a Wilson Pizza anywhere else in the continental U.S. You can try, but there is nothing else like it any place but Wilson, Ct. They have a "signature" flavor that cant be imitated and they have no problem making your pizza the way you ask for. My personal favorite pizza is their spinach pie with Italian sausage, garlic and dollops of ricotta cheese on top! The flavor is that of a gourmet restaurant, being of a high quality great tasting pizza pie. Id give their line-up six stars if I could! Try to find a better pepperoni pizza, and you will be back to Wilson Pizza. These good folks are always busy and that can only mean one thing..... They are the BEST DANG PIZZAS around!!!

I ordered a tuna salad from here and received just that. Nothing terrible, but certainly nothing special either. The salad consisted of iceberg lettuce, green pepper slices, onion slices, and tomato wedges topped off with a large portion of tuna. Typically they offer cheese as well but I opted out of that. I should note that I ordered "to go" and it was packed inside of that typical aluminum foil container with a plastic lid. It is what I would expect from a pizza shop but I was hopeful based on other reviews. I have been pleasantly surprised by other shops but dont expect that here.

In my opinion, the best pizza in the Hartford area. The mozzarella is thick and gooey, slightly burned on the top. The sauce is very robust and savory with a slight presence of onion. The crust is medium thickness: light and fluffy in the center and crispy on the outside. If you like new haven or new york style pizza, this may not be your thing. However, if you like your pizzas bold in flavor, give this place a try. Staff is extremely friendly and will even remember you if you show up a second time.

The staff at Wilson Pizza is really sweet and the guy who owns it "Nick"( He is my grandfathers friend from back in the day) has been there for many years. I go there not only because it is close but they also have really good food. It is great for birthday parties and it is a really fun hangout after school especially in the spring when the weather is getting nice. I recommend you go there to eat and have a great time.

I use to go to wilson pizza as a teenager and up and I believe it was the best pizza in town, its been a while sense Ive gone there, so I went there a week ago from today and I was very very disappointed. The cheese was caked on and over cooked. Maybe its a new owner, they did put Palace at the end of the name.

Ive been going here bi-weekly for 6 years. Their pizza, salads, grinders, and calzones are incredible - Ive had all of them multiple times. Note they accept cash only. The building was an old McDonalds so they were creative in turning the Ms upside down for Ws. Family friendly environment.

I read all the reviews on here so I decided to give the pizza a try. I wasnt too impressed to be honest. The staff was friendly but the pizza wasnt the greatest. Everyone has their own tastes in pizza. Maybe their pizza just isnt my type. My favorite place is still pizza Regina in Boston.

I cut my first teeth on their pizza crust and continue to enjoy their food every chance I get. This is by far the best pizza Ive ever eaten. The restaurant is a local landmark, and the family that owns it is salt of the earth. Do yourself a favor and get some Wilson Pizza tonight!

You can never go wrong with Wilsons pizza. The best food in Windsor that you can find for a pizzeria. Would highly suggest that you try their food if you havent and if you love lasagna, theirs is great. Just make sure you have cash, they dont do plastic unfortunately

I live in North Carolina and when I come home its Wilson Pizza. from the airport. The staff was friendly the pizza is the greatest. Everyone has their own tastes in pizza. I dream about this one. ITS GREAT!!!

Ive only had the pizza, grinder, and salad but all of them were great. I just wish they took debit/credit....I dont always wanna take cash out just for a salad. And no delivery.. :-(

Yes, I agree with everyone on here. They do have some great pizza. Just make sure you bring cash. Debt/credit cards are not accepted. They do have an ATM machine inside however.
