I moved to CT over two years ago from NNY. Watertown NY to be exact, and its a city with a very large Italian community and a legacy of outstanding pizza. I have tried since moving to find what I consider to be genuine Italian style pizza. First of all youre nothing without a good crust and theyve nailed it. Just the right thickness and consistency, not doughy at all ! Cooked absolutely perfectly to a light brown it was on the money. Sauce has a nice smooth flavor with just the right amount of oregano and spices. 100% real mozzarella and lots of it and a healthy share of fresh mushrooms made this one killer Italian pizza. It took a long time to find what I consider to be one damn fine pizza, but good things are worth the wait. Also, the service is incredible. Each time I have dined in I have watched as Moe remains vigilant over the front counter. You will not wait for one second here for anything. Its a well oiled machine for certain. They got a customer and a fan with me. Thanks guys.

I called to pick up my order and yes everybodys right the guy over the phone is rude. They only accept cash that was an inconvenience as I never have cash. I ordoered a calzone with spinach, onions, some sort of peppers and mushrooms. When I walk then I was greeted with are you picking something up. Lets just say my calzone was as dry as the greeting. My calzone was just mediocre... Ill probably never be in Connecticut again, here on business. Once I pay for my calzone he left it on the left side of the register and walked away. , Im not sure if youre getting something, if the box is mine. He didnt say s*** in the guy was a f****** penis. And you didnt give me my f****** receipt. Im never coming back to this restaurant again... ever might I add... saying

We came in an hour before closing, when we arrived, everyone working seemed to be really annoyed at our presence, big frown on all of their faces, no greetings, just a very premature "ready to order?" we felt rushed, and unwelcome, I tried to get a refill of soda, and they shut the soda machine down, 45 minutes before closing with customers inside. While we were eating the were putting no on their jackets and ready to leave, like we were keeping them there. We left 10 minutes before closing, on the way out, an employee followed us to the door and locked it behind us. The very, very poor customer service was not worth the average tasting food. If it is anywhere close to closing time, look elsewhere, you will not have a pleasant experience.

After so many years of not going here, after going here all the time, I have returned to the fold. The old building had gotten so uninviting, I just stopped going. Now with a new building, it is welcoming. I actually was surprised that everything I got, was as I remembered it. Oversized and yummy. The only difference was I didnt have to tell Moe, " no peppers" six times. I also tried a pizza, for what may have been the first time, and wow was I amazed. I have always been a Pizza Par... fan, and still am, but boy do they make a good pie. There will be folks who cry about this or that, and while Moe wont like it, they can stay away and leave this Windsor Locks institution to us.

I find it really hard to believe the post that the owners are writing towards the customers responses. Yes I love the food here however the customer service does need improvement BIG TIME, very rude.. If you post a good comment the owners response is very nice; if you post a bad review the owners response is RUDE and so on. What kind of owner does this??? Customers whether new or old see this and this makes you not want to go there. The owners can write what they want but as far as I go I wont go there cause of the nasty and rude people. They wouldnt have a business if it wasnt for customers and the owners should be happy not rude to anyone. JUST SAYING

The food is pretty good but the workers are so rude. The first time we went we figured maybe they were just having a bad day but when they were just as rude the second time we vowed to never return, no matter how good the food is. The young men working there just make you feel like you are inconveniencing them by coming in and God forbid if you take a minute deciding what you want...they will give you a death stare. Seriously need to work on your customer service. Customers should not feel like they are a nuisance.

We have been going to H&M since they opened many years ago. They just recently moved to their new location which is right next door to their old place. I have had their pizzas but they are famous for their grinder that are HUGE to say the least. They are usually served cold but will heat them at your request. The cold cut grinders are served with lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese, with peppers and onions. They will add onions if you request. H&M is the only game in town. You will not go away hungry.

I was tonight I ordered 2 large steak and cheese grinders a cheeseburger grinder and a chicken Parmesan grinder extra cheese extra sauce. I got home and my chicken had no sauce and was dry worse chicken ever my feelings were that they did pizza and Italian food they could master a chicken parmigian grinder. The cheese burger was cooked so much it was in edible. The steak was way over cooked and dry. It was the worst experience ever. I thought h&m was supposed to be amazing Im very disappointed.

Great Gigantic Grinders. The 8" Italian combo was packed with quality meat, good cheese and fresh lettuce, peppers and tomato. The service was very friendly and super fast. The place is very clean. Only two cons; cash only and no small packets of mayonnaise & mustard for my grinder to go on the airplane. Solo cups with lids which was risky for taking on a flight. Easy access and ample parking.

Everyone saying the front guy is rude is right, Brodie deff gotta attitude problem, noticed it literally the first time I ever walked in there. That was like three years ago and I still go there at least once a month. Foods too good bruh and I honestly dont mind that homeboy doesnt try to make small talk. Reminds me of a no nonsense NYC deli tbh.

I go by here every time I am in Windsor on business because there are no places like this in South Carolina sadly. Last time, I got a giant Italian grinder to go and carried it back for my wife. I told them i was doing this and they wrapped it up for the trip. Great food, I cant wait to try the pizza the next time I am there.

My first time here and Ill absolutely be back. Im a steak and cheese fanatic. I have to say the steak and cheese is in my top 5. Outside of tasting fantastic, the sub is gigantic. I work in the area 3 days a week and you guys have found a new regular customer. Great job!
