I want to start by saying that I am not one to write many reviews. However, after several bouts of disappointment with this location, I find it necessary to make other people aware. Do not order from this location if you have any food allergies or sensitivities to certain foods. Despite making the request at the time of order for NO CHEESE to be put onto my order, no dressings, or have them on the side etc - these requests are never fulfilled. This has occurred 3 separate times, with 3 different menu items when placing a to go order. This most recent time (today, January 6th at 11:30AM) the person who took the order even stated to me on the phone that the toppings for salads, including dressings, are "always put on the side." Lo and behold, when arriving back to the office each time, what should I find but my order smothered in crumbled blue cheese and dressing. Terrible accommodations, inconsiderate of those with food intolerances, and I will never be placing another order from them again. A whole meal dumped in the trash.

Horrid service So me and our party of eight decided to go out and try this restaurant out. After waiting for 30 minutes. The hostesses comes out and tells us. It would be a few more minutes. After 15 more minutes. A different hostesses comes out to tell us it would be a few more. Then 10 minutes later. we are told the only tables available are on 2 separate isles. And they refused to acknowledge that they gave our table away to the many groups 4 and 5 people that walked right in, and Sat right down. After almost an hour of waiting and promises the manager came out for 10 seconds to promise " we will sit you down now. We are clearing the table" Then 20 minutes later the manager didnt even have the courage to come and tell us himself. He sent the hostess to deal with the 4 adults. And 4 starving kids!...

So I called the Wallingford 99 today to order to go and I was put on hold and the young girl Alisha who answered the phone says I will be two seconds. I wait 5 minutes on hold and I know that because I have a timer on my phone. I call back and ask her if she forgot about me on hold and she says no it was only two seconds. I explain to her that it wasnt because I have a timer and she argues with me and asks for my order. I will not be ordering to go from them again which make me mad because I order a salad form them weekly but because of her I will give my business to someone else. Instead of arguing with me a simple apology would have been better.

Ive been to Ninety Nine at least 10 times, and each time, weve always gotten in pretty quick, with a max wait of about 20 minutes on busy friday nights. The waiters/waitresses are all great, they appear to be well trained. If spicy is your thing, you MUST try the Boneless Buffalo Wings appetizer! As far as the entrees go, if you enjoy steak, the Filet Mignon is for you! It is petite, but for the price, its worth it. If youre a seafood lover like myself, youll likely enjoy the Colossal Lobster Roll, theyre not stingy at all with the lobster. Overall a great experience, definitely recommended.

We went to this restaurant based on the reviews collected on Google Maps. The food was very disappointing, given how highly rated it was. The seafood chowder was mostly potatoes and thick cream sauce. The boneless wings were tasteless and spicy at the same time. Quesadilla portions were large and average in taste. The waitress was very friendly, so that was a plus. Overall, I think this place ranks as an average TGIF or Applebees, not deserving of the 4 or 5 stars others have given it.

Came at 2 pm. It took a while to get seated and waited on (seemed even longer because we were hungry and wanted a quick bite to eat). But once everything got going the staff were really nice. Beef vegetable soup was good. It was good temperature. Ordered black bean burger and honey bbq chicken wrap with coleslaw. We sat at the bar. The bartender was nice and friendly.

Always a good time here. The wait staff have watched our daughters grow from a carrier to a high chair to booster seats. Always friendly when we arrive and we always feel like they are part of our family. When a place keeps the staff that long it usually means that they are happy. It shows through whenever we go.

Meh... Nothing to write home about. Got a brucetta wrap with coke slow. Tortilla was chewy, balsamic dressing was strong and too sweet. Coleslaw was kind of watery and bland. Was just passing through CT but would not return. Also, decor reminded me of an Applebees knock off. Lacked in authentic personality.

This was the first time I had ever been here....there was a small line to get in...the manager noticed and came right over and seated us....our server came over told us of special offers as well as free appetizer if you join email....the food was delicious. ..service was excellent!....we will be back

Ive never written a review, but decided to this time. Our waitress was terrible - unfriendly and didnt pay attention to us. She didnt even come to find out if our meal was good. My salad was wilted and my steak not cooked as requested. I hope this was an exception

The staff is always friendly and courteous and everything seems completely clean. The only issue I have is that sometimes the food isnt on par with what it should be. I know this because I come here every couple of weeks and get the same thing.

This is our go to restaurant, for nights when its a last minute thought to go out to eat, again. For a year it wasnt meeting their usual standards but things got better. Their food is great and service is again outstanding.

Cool place to eat and watch some football. You know going in its a chain but its a decent place to eat. I had prime rib and they had 50 cent wings for football Sunday everything was good and friendly service from the bar.

Average American-style eatery. Nothing too extraordinary here. Good for a group or just a night out to eat. Prices are good and about what you would expect for an establishment such as this.
