Weve been 3 times. This weekend is the last. Everything was under cooked or overcooked. The wrap I had, the tortilla was rock hard. My fiances pancakes were still really mushy in the middle.But we didnt say anything And my fiances brothers girlfriends chicken was warm on the outside but as soon as she bit into it, it was frozen like they didnt even cook it, she returned it and they just heated it up in the microwave after saying shed get a new one. About after 2 hours of being home we all were feeling sick. Will never go there again. The owner was saying how he didnt see anything wrong with the chicken being reheated at least thats what I understood from it. And it looks like the waitress had to argue to get the chicken off the bill after my fiances brothers girlfriend said she didnt want it anymore. No point of paying for overpriced chicken when they failed on their behalf... But the waitress was probably the only good part about the visit. She was friendly and kept checking in on us. Other than that I understand why the place was mostly empty. and Im noticing the owner is saying people are probably making up stuff in responses. Im sure thats to cover themselves up like most restaurants do...Shouldnt be talking to customers that way. So unprofessional

My wife and I stopped in, figured new management, probably new, better food. Wrong. The food is different, but somehow its gotten worse. She ordered the eggs Benedict, which were passable, the English muffin was chewy (despite the hollandaise being served on the side). I ordered their "buffalo burger." It came with half of the toppings the menu promised, which I then had to request piecemeal. The burger patty itself was one of those super-processed freezer burgers, like you can get at Wal-Mart? Like, it seems like a step up from McDonalds but it still falls short of even that. Disco fries - fries with cheese and gravy - came with everything on the side, which was odd... Until I tasted the cheese and gravy, both of which were horrible (I suspect the cheese sauce was a few days old... And I could taste the age, even tho it was the processed cheese wiz style). I paid $11 for my atrocious burger... Said to come topped with onion rings, I got two tiny rings for my huge (flat) patty, which was not mid-rare... Altho to be honest it was probably frozen fully cooked, so I cant blame the cooks. Another $2 for the upgrade to "disco fries," and the wifes Benedict was $10... With coffee at $2. So disappointed, definitely avoid, would not recommend.

It was close to 90 degrees out from the heat wave. i walked to Uncasville Diner to order a breakfast sandwich. They had to explain to the cook multiple times what i wanted. I asked for ice water three times and the rude waiter ignored me! eventually she got me a tall glass of ice water because she saw i was getting irritated. I asked for less butter and my sandwich was COVERED in butter. The bagel tastes stale! the sandwich was falling apart. i had them remake the sandwich. The next sandwich had no butter, but the bagel was stale and it tasted gross. They tried to charge me over 8 dollars and said its past breakfast special time, even though they service breakfast all day, and then i argued it and they reduced the price to normal, just over 6 dollars. horrible food, horrible customer service. I will NEVER eat here again. edit: no i didnt fabricate nor do i appreciate you calling me a liar.

My family and I came in to eat. Waited at least 15 before someone came over to ask what drinks we wanted. Then 15 minutes after that we ordered our food. When the food came 45 minutes later it was cold. I ordered the dish with poached eggs, spinach, feta on an English muffin. The muffin was not toasted, nothing was seasoned, and it was COLD frozen spinach. My kids food wasnt warm either. 15 minutes AFTER getting our food my husband had to ask for the rest of his. We only ate half of everything because we were hungry. Wont be back again. If I am paying for someone else to cook, please season it and make sure its hot!

Was driving home from mystic aquarium with my 2 kids, stopped here excepting a normal small town diner but it was much more. Staff went above & beyond, seating us in a nice corner area where we could spread out (diaper bags for 2 kids take up space), waiter offered us hot water to warm bottle when he saw I was having trouble, food was delicious, great options including organic, fair prices, our 2 yr old was even offered free ice cream on our way out, I dont usually write reviews but after taking a chance on this place driving by I want to make sure others do too!!

The food was great. Sodas however tasted watered down. Waitress was terrible. Never came to check on things. Empty glass sat at end of table for 10 mins or more. I had to ask other waitress for a refill. When I asked 2nd waitress about desserts, our original waitress finally came over. I asked for extra napkins, I got 3 cocktail napkins, really???? Smiling and friendly go a long way. There was hardly anyone there. First time there. Sorry to say.

Just left. Met a friend for breakfast. Service was NOT good. Waited for a while just for menus. I had to ask if we could place a drink order prior to our food order. My friend accidentally spilt her hot coffee all over herself. No staff came to offer extra napkins or even see if she was ok. Had to ask for refills of coffee or hot tea. Just not a good experience for my first time here. I wont be returning.

Terrible service . Do not go there . waited forever just to get a menu . waitress was terrible did not check on us at all and had a poor attitude . By the time we got our food which was just breakfast everything was cold . Spoke with manager and he did not care to give us a discount for the cold food . Speaking of the food , by far the worst food Ive ever had . Do not waste your time and money on this place .

Stopped for breakfast on the way to the ferry and really wish we didnt. Took about 10 minutes for someone to even come and bring us menus. My boyfriends french toast was inedible, bacon tasted like it was the pre cooked microwave stuff. Way over priced, totally not worth and wish we didnt waste time or money. And coffee is terrible. Dont even bother stopping in youll be disappointed.

Food was ok. Definitely way over priced. Im a huge fan of local diners and was dissapointed as this is literally right down the street from me. Not an ideal place to take a family for a simple meal. The food was average for breakfast food. Although they were not busy, I had to ask for a coffee refill....and I finished and paid before it came. Dont think I will come back here.

We were there on November 23, 2016. This place has delicious breakfast! I ordered ham, cheese, mushrooms omlette and chocolate chip and banana pancakes. Its was ver tasty! I recommend this place . The diner itself is clean, quiet, employees are super nice.
