To be aware of, this is a seasonal Diary Queen, March through October, with a limited menu with no burgers or hot food baskets available. The ice cream is top notch, no complaints on the delicious DQ you have come to know and love. Walk up window with somewhat limited parking , best option to eat is a nearby park if you are looking for a leisurely summer time treat.

This store continues to serve good old Dairy Queen ice cream while keeping its 20th Century character. Going to this store, when compared to others across the state and nation, is more than an ice cream stop but an experience which makes a reason for someone to go into downtown Torrington. Strong supporter.

DQ IS THE BEST!! TRY their STRAWBERRY & BANANA BLIZZARD-SMOOTHIE!! THE BEST AROUND!! (Well next to ARETHUSA in Bantam)... Still.... AWESOME FOOD on MAIN STREET!! Cant miss them either the front of the building is the relic DQ OLD STYLE RED BARN ROOF!

Nice place to have a tasty treat. This Dairy Queen is ice cream only and closes for the season between November and March. Parking is available but is at a premium.
