Foods okay and fresh, but prices are super expensive. Better price alternative in Oceanside on Mott Street. EDIT. Yes they are super expensive compared to other spot I mentioned. I eat in the city plenty of times, thank you. This, however is not the city. $2.50 for a slab of sake sushi? That is expensive.

Super expensive prices? Try coming to Manhattan and eating sushi. The prices here are higher than Toyos. When I was living in Baldwin, Toyo was my go-to Japanese restaurant. I plan on visiting them next month for the first time in a few years. I remember their grand opening more than 7 years ago!

this place has the freshest, most delicious sushi on long island. and they are so friendly! the pieces of sushi are large, they dont get stingy with the fish at all. i highly suggest eating in or taking out. They also deliver!
