I have a picky palette, its a curse sometimes, because I end up spending too much time deciding what I want to eat. I was looking for a good mexican place, and saw good reviews for Casa Villa. I decided to try it and was pleasantly surprised. The best tacos I have had ever. Al Pastor with the meat and pineapples is an amazing taste. Ive been going there regularly now, and still havnt become tired of them to try other menu items. Only downside (4 star instead of 5 star) is the neighborhood. Its on the bad side of Stamford, and very limited parking on the street. Delivery is ok, but $15 required and plus the food would cool a bit. You just cant match the taste of just made fresh, but every single time I go, you see shady people hanging around that block.

La comida es buena. Lo malo es que la recepcionista toma mal la orden y todo lo que he pedido viene al revés la orden. Ejemplo; Pido (una orden de tacos de asada y un burrido de carnitas y viene invertida la orden) Así no está bien porque hay clientes que no comen tortillas o viceversa.

Wow, I had read some good reviews so I decided to give it a shot. I am pregnant and in that "nothing sounds or tastes very good" phase but I needed to put some dinner on the table for the family and gave Casa Villa a call. The food was here within 30 minutes and it was DELICIOUS - even with my newly picky tastebuds. My 2 year old tore into her tostada and asked for more when she finished it. It looks like nothing much from the outside but dont be deceived. I imagine it would have been EVEN better if we ate there, things are bound to get a little soggy in transit.

So I would have given 5 stars but delivery took 1 hour and 15 minutes... Cmon guys, get it together. When the food arrived it was soggy for the most part and luke warm. Besides that I can tell it would have been great if fresh. It is very authentic too. Corn instead of flour, mostly pork and beef instead of chicken. The value is very good too for the area. 3 tacos with r&b for 8.50 is not bad at all. They charge 1.50 for delivery so keep that in mind.

The food is good at this place, but the service is terrible. I ordered food from this place recently and they took 2 hours to deliver the food. Thats ridiculous!!! I called them up and they seemed not to care. I got no apology, nothing. The only thing that Im impressed with, is the food. Takeout just takes 15 minutes, why should delivery take 2 hours. If you want to eat from this place avoid using delivery.

Totally bummed, was excited to try this place after looking at the reviews.... Boy was I disappointed ! prices were ok however the food was unbelievable bland and tasteless. I ordered chicken enchiladas, the chicken seemed to be pre-cooked and sooooo dry, the mole sauce was just kinda thrown on them and tasted like....nothing. Staff was good, however it sucks walking out of a place completely unsatisfied.

Delicious. The chilaquiles (with chicken) are my favorite ever. And, to address a comment below, yes, its not in a gentrified neighborhood next door to a Starbucks, but theres absolutely nothing wrong with the neighborhood. The food is perfect. The desserts made in house and all fantastic. Super nice service. Ive had delivery several times, too. No problems.

I heard alot of bad word in spanish as i am hispanic also playing around too much and my chicken flautas barely had any lettuce beans and crema.its $ 4.50 for two little tacos with very little lettuce and stuff stop being cheap please.then i will change this rate ive been your custumer for over 10 years and i have seen the price go up and food quantity down Thanks

Had eaten here before and enjoyed it so we decided to go back. The restaurant is small, the noise level was ridiculous and even though they seemed to have an adequate amount of help the service was horrible. Very slow, extremely inattentive, almost like we werent there.

My husband and I walked in on a Monday evening with no reservation and although the restaurant was fairly full we immediately were shown to a table. He had some dietary restrictions at that time ... Accommodations were made with a smile and a no problem attitude.

Best Mexican food in town ! Large portions! Burritos are full of meats and cheeses- Not with just rice and beans which are left nicely packed on the side! And they deliver! We order take out from with with several different orders and they always get it right!

Only had this once and will definitely be using this as a normal Mexican spot. Flautas are amazing along with the chips and salsa to start being fresh and on point. I will definitely be going again in the near future.

The food is awsome, the cooks are great, but the service is a little incompetent, they forget to add the sauce, tortillas, and they dont charge you for it, the waiter is quite slow, but from there the food is great.

A nice restaurant - mostly steak with some seafood. Excellent service and very expensive...I would not recommend the ribeye - much gristle. A nice atmosphere, a little pretentious, though.
