Youd be hard pressed to find better pizza anywhere in a hundred miles radius. Red sauce, white sauce, thin crust, thick crust, all of it is top notch. The crust is delicious, almost as good as the pizza itself. They even use fresh ingredients from local farms if the current season allows for it. Not only that, its actually reasonably priced as well. If you dont mind driving out here, you can get some of the best pizza in Connecticut for about the same price as picking up a pizza from pizza hut.

This is our first time visiting Sassanos and we are absolutely impressed. The service is quick and friendly. The meatballs are to die for. The pizzas are amazing!! Its BYOB (which we love). We will definitely be back- often!!

This place is phenomenal. I highly recommend their meatball and calamari appetizers. Their salads are also fantastic. We had the roasted vegetable pizza and it was up there with the best pizza Ive ever had. I am a fan.
