Part of a fantastic small local chain. While I prefer Ming Dynasty more, Ming Palace is a great option for quality Chinese food. The inside is a little small, but the food is spectacular. The bar exists, but it only has like 3 seats so dont plan on sitting there. As a nice bonus, the parking lot has dedicated parking spaces for pickup visits. The rest of the parking lot can be a bit chaotic, but this addition makes it easier to cope with. Id highly recommend the crab rangoons, thr chicken and broccoli, and the house special fried rice.

Trusted all the reviews and tried it...will never go back, or recommend to anyone. It was almost empty when we arrived, and 3 servers were staring at us, waiting for us to order. We asked for a few mins. the food took forever, and was very disappointing. 2 people got the sizzling steak & asparagus..the steak was not sizzling (looked like dog food), and they had to search for the 2 slivers of asparagus. overall: awkward and sad

I was just looking at Chinese Food restaurant reviews in the area and noticed that the one below from Sally is a review for the wrong restaurant. This is Ming Palace. Ming Moon (which she reviewed) is in the center of Newington. I wanted to point this out. I have eaten at Ming Palace once nearly a year ago. The people were nice and the food was pretty standard Chinese food. I dont have any complaints so I give it a 4.

I go here regularly with a friend of mine for lunch, and its a great place to eat. Its cheap for lunch, from what I recall about 6 bucks, and good too. The food Ive gotten has always been hot and fresh, and its always brought out really quickly. The service is always good, and the staff is friendly. If youre in the area and looking for a cheap good lunch, Id highly recommend Ming Palace.

I went there 9 July 2016 with my wife, and we had a wonderful experience. We were greeted when we entered, and the environment along with the staffs hospitable ways. My wife and I was pleased with that due to the fact that Connecticut has not been friendly towards Blacks. The food at Mings Palace is awesome. I would recommend this place to everyone who seeks Chinese Food.

I have been going to this place for years. In this area it is one of the better Chinese restaurants you can find. I like the restaurant portion of the place as well. It actually has a real restaurant and the staff are always courteous. Portions are good and food is above average quality to very very good. Prices are also very reasonable.

I was really surprised by the service. When we arrived they gave us water, tea, and snacks within seconds of coming. The drink selection is amazing and the combination special came with soup, an eggroll, fried rice and an entree for about 10 bucks. Its a really honest place I think and I plan on going back.

As a Newington resident, we have tried every chinese food place within a 15 mile radius. Ming Palace is by far the best place around here. Super friendly and great food. DO NOT confuse this with Ming Moon located in Market Square, which is a horrible place to eat.

Really great chinese food. Food was ready quickly and the staff were really friendly while we waited. We ended up with some free samples as well as some tea. Portions were good size, will absolutely eat there again.

Horrendous. I ordered Chop Suey and it was horrible. Vegetables made me sick. They taste very old. -10 if I could. It looked delicious but it wasnt.
