The food was above average for a diner but the service was disappointing and became rude. Our server was very friendly at first but something changed. We think it might be because we had ordered the chicken Cobb sandwich and our server mistakenly gave us a chicken Cobb salad. Maybe she thought it was our fault? After that she became very short and curt and you could tell she just wanted to get us out ASAP. It was like night and day. The person who looked like the manager rang us up at the end. I had asked him if they had mud pie and he reacted as if I was some kind of idiot. We eventually shifted over to the dessert counter and I asked about the pie in the back and he told me it was chocolate creme. He asked me if I would like a slice as he was ringing me up. I politely declined and his face furrowed and he began shaking his head and raised his hands palm up as if what i did made completely no sense to him. It was a really really weird and disproportionate reaction. Id give them one star because the service was that bad that it compelled me to write a review which I almost never do. I honestly dont remember the last time Ive been so confused, disappointed, and annoyed by service from a restaurant. But in fairness, the food was good so I rated it 2 stars. Party of 5, ate here 5/26/17 at around 930pm

I was very excited something new was coming to town, I could not wait for Dinerluxe to open!! I finally had the chance to go with my 4 year old son last night and we were both very excited. Once we were seated our waitress came, she was very nice and attentive (she is the reason for the stars). My son and I both felt like breakfast for dinner, so he ordered 2 plain pancakes and a banana, I ordered the deluxe breakfast with pancakes, scrambled eggs sausage and bacon. The food came quickly and when my pancakes were brought out the waitress explained she only had sugar free syrup (which I did not find to taste very good), but I do not like to complain much so I figured I would make due with what I had. The eggs though, they were still like liquid, they were so under cooked I could not eat more than the first bite. The sausage was not great either and the pancakes were ok I just didnt like the syrup. All in all, I was excited to finally get to go but I really did not enjoy my food at all. I am not sure if I would try it again.

I just had the worst experience at this restraunt. Never have I had a waiter who was so rude in my life. I ordered their drink special of the night, a Mellonball. It was awful so they said "this is a diner, if you want a real drink go to 1st and 10" like really? Why have it on your menu if you dont know how to make it? So they gave me a new drink. I ordered a Cosmo thinking how could they go wrong? Well apparently their bartender is only 18 and has no experience making drinks so I received a red Cosmo.. I said this isnt even the right color and tastes wrong can you please just take this off the bill. He asked his manager and the most he could do was discount it. Needless to say I will NEVER go back. Wort experience with customer service Ive ever experienced.

Dinerlux goes above and beyond with its customer service. I called at 1145 on Saturday night (15 minutes before they close, most places would refuse to take an order) I asked if they could make me just a basic salad with 1 million cucumbers and chicken which wasnt on the menu. They said no problem. When I arrived, James showed me the salad to make sure it was exactly what I wanted ,he even made it himself just to be sure. Most places would have refused any order so close to closing or refused to make something not on the menu. After an 18 hour day there is no greater feeling than eating exactly what you want. James is the best and I love Dinerlux! Best high end diner around!!

Came here with a friends for lunch and it was delicious. Started with a bowl of the Beef Barley soup which I have to say was the most flavorful Beef Barley soup I have ever had in a while. My friend ordered a Pork Chop of the specials menu which he enjoyed a lot . I had the Pastrami Reuben with sweet potato fries also very good. You can tell they make prepare their food daily as everything was fresh tasting . In addition to our excellent meal I couldnt help but to overhear the table next to us raving about a chicken dish they were enjoying. All in all I think that this restaurant has a great recipe for success and I will most definitely come back in the near future.

Just had a horrible experience and Im not usually one to complain. We walked in and were seated right away, it wasnt busy at all. We (my 2 young sons, my wife, and myself) proceeded to look over the menus and decide what we wanted. We then waited for a server.. And waited.. And waited. A good 20-25 minutes wen by and it started to get busy with a line coming in the door. A group then came and sat in the table directly next to us.. Waited a whole 2 minutes and someone came to take their drink order. We were still completely ignored. At that point me, my wife and my 2 hungry children got up and left and took our service somewhere else. Wont be going back.

This a nice and clean diner. It has a modern and retro look to it. They serve regular diner meals, it is very affordable. The meal presentation ia great and very appealing. Coffee is good. For a diner this is a great place, very relaxing and kick back. Staff are very friendly. I always order the diner benedict and cornbeef hash, taste always good. Food Presentation is clean and simple, which i really appreciate because if a diner serve my food sloppy i will probably not eat it. so yes this diner place is a good place to eat if your around the area, and you wanna kick off your shoes and relax.

Besides being bright and shiny Id have to say the average diner here. I had a unremarkable Ruben with good fries. My wife had a western omelet that she described as ok. My wifes milkshake was not blended well, kind of thin until she found big chunk of un-mixed ice cream in the bottom of the mixing container. Service again was ok and would have been good if I didnt have to go wandering around looking for my check. Bottom line, Id go there again if it was the only thing open but will try something else if possible.

Food is quite alright. No complaints there... However, the waitstaff... incredibly incompetent, rude, lazy and seemingly unsupervised. I blame 95% of this on the lack of supervision & training. You really must have someone in charge minding EVERYTHING at once - making sure things are going smoothly. I just cant go there anymore. Management obviously doesnt care - since they arent visibly taking command of anything. You can easily wait 1+ hour and get nothing, leave, and nobody would notice.
