Took the scenic route home to get to i95 again, in order to stop at The Bistro. I had to bring my husband because I told him about when I came here 3 years earlier with my mom and we were impressed by our meal. For starters we got fried calamari "spicy with peppers" oh boy was that good, and HUGE portion. We didnt even need a main dish! We also got a salad. Fresh and delicious. He ordered the spaghetti carbonara. He was in awe. Huge chunks of ham/pancetta. He loved it. Said it may have been one of the best Italian meals he has ever had. I got the same thing I had 3 years ago, the scallops with pasta. No disappointment there. Just as I remembered... garlicy, and cooked perfectly. You could taste every herb, the quality of oil, etc. I am so glad we came here again. I keep thinking this place is like a gem. You would have no idea its a spot on Italian restaurant from the outside or from the name. Its worth a try. I promise you wont be disappointed. We couldnt finish our meal we were so full but the best part is taking it home and eating it later that night. Delicious!

Worked all day asked it was late. Went to a diner near exit 56 and waited for 15 minutes with no visit from a server. Left and went looking for someone to feed us. Walked into the bistro and they were getting close to closing. They were extremely nice and offered us a table. The food was excellent and the service wonderful even though they were in closing mode. Will go back again and we recommend them highly!

Two friends and I had dinner there last Sunday and it was a pure delight. The owner is an inspiring man with such a passion for his field he made it a joy just to speak with him about his vision and how he got to this point. Finally, of course, the outside veranda and the great food lived up to and exceeded what at that point was expected.....

Food is always great. Sweet Potato fries are yummy. Today I had ths Caesar salad with ahi tuna. Tuna was cooked (or should I say not cooked) to perfection. Our waitress was sweet and attentive. Other times service was a little slow which is why the 4 stars. We will be back.

The atmosphere is comfy and cozy and the waitstaff friendly (even on a very busy night). But if you love really good food, then come for the food! Have the Bistro Steak! Or the cauliflower with sopressata appetizer, or the Bistro Salmon. Everything we had was amazing.
