Horrible I went here for the first time with a companion this evening. We ordered a bottle of wine and 2 entrees with salads the wine and salads were served. We each drank one glass of wine. After eating his salad my companion became Ill (he has a severe nut allergy ) I asked if there were any nut products in the salad. ..yes walnuts. I said I was taking him to the hospital. I even stated which one. We left in a hurry only stopping briefly at the car for my companion to use his epipen. We were in the ER for over 4 hours. HE nearly died. After we left my companion received a call from the police. The owner called because we didnt pay the bill (we intended to do so later) My companion explained to the officer the circumstances. Including that he was severely ill and nearly died. The officer stated that he would speak to the owner and call back if there was a problem. He did indeed call back and said he had called the hospital and they never heard of him...really? Officer have you not heard of HIPPA? (I am an attorney and my companion is an accomplished businessman. ..we are in our 50s, not kids) Seriously if I were going to skip out on a bill I would have eaten the meal first and certainly consumed the wine. I made it VERY clear to the waitstaff that my friend was having an allergic reaction to nuts and that we were going to the hospital. So their reaction was to take down the plate number and call the police. My friend explained the situation to the offcer...who said that he would only call back if there was a problem with the owner. ..which apparently there is. I dont know who this person is but I must say that my opinion is that he or she is a despicable disgusting human being. Clealy a $50-$60 bill is more important than human decency. yeah we are paying the bill tomorrow.

My boyfriend and I went for dinner the other night, and it was a huge disappointment. We were never brought utensils nor refills for our sodas. We both ordered a cup of the soup of the day, which was clam chowder, received no crackers and were charged a $1 extra per cup because apparently there was an up charge on the clam chowder which we were not informed of a head of time. When we asked the waiter about this he responded rather rudely and barely gave us the time of day. We both got sliders, which were dry and flavorless, they were supposed to be buffalo chicken but it was basically just an over cooked chicken tender in a roll. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant to a friend.

Awesome Fra Diavolo. Excellent selections. The Fra Diavolo with garlic white sauce $9 lunch portion was perfectly sized. The broth was great but a couple pieces of garlic toast would have been perfect. The house rolls the server provided were not the right match. They would have been better served warm and with softened butter. The service was very good and the kitchen provided our 7 lunch entrees in good time. The dining area is very clean and had a nice ambiance. All of the meals were thoroughly enjoyed. Easy access and ample parking.

Went back to Piattis with the family and had an excellent Lasagna and my wife had the Eggplant Parmesan. Both were cooked perfect with greta seasoning. The sauce I could die for. We enjoyed our previous visits to Piattis but its been a while since we had a chance to get back there and we plan to make it a monthly haunt. Love the quant atmosphere, particularly with the gas fire out front. Theres a lot of big name eateries in Glastonbury and Piattis is top tier for sure with a great menu to please just about anyone. Hats off to the Chef!

Food is great, prices are very fair, portions are quite large. Bar is well stocked. Im not a wine person, but their selection on that front looked very good as well. Wait staff was very kind, but service was noticeably slow. The slowness is really the only knock on this place, definitely worth checking out when youre not in a rush.

The past few times I have been here the food was just not all that. The Caprese salad was tasteless and lackluster. The tomatoes were mealy and white. I would not have served them. The service for happy hour in the bar was not good and the server didnt cash out my transaction properly. Just not impressed. Wont go back.

Get takeout from this place all the time. Owner is a real hoot, shes got exacting standards and trains her staff accordingly. The food is top notch, with everything on the menu being homemade and delicious. Intimate dining room and a sizable bar and lounge. Havent tried Happy Hour here yet but I imagine its decent.

Showed up at 11:20 AM to order take out for lunch, no cook there and waiter wasnt able to say what time they would be. Seriously? How do you open a restaurant with no cook? Good think the coffee shop next door had sandwiches.

Though the stuffed burgers are delicious, we were told they cannot be cooked to medium temperature even though they ask you how you would like them cooked. Well done it was!
