Decent grub and atmosphere; wait staff could be a bit slow and inattentive even though it wasnt super busy; cooks seem to need a little refresher on cooking timing... Started off decent. Friendly and welcoming seating. Waitress forgot to ask a few things when taking our order, but no biggie. Drinks were slow to get to the table. App was their Garlic Bread +shrimp, which was really good. Salads came out after, which was fresh, and the Asian dressing was a great choice. Drinks were empty at this point but the waitress didnt ask if we wanted more drinks. When the entrees arrived the waitress asked can I get you anything else, and I was like, how about some drinks? The Entrees werent bad, I personally had their signature Pattaconk Burger, ordered medium, but came out well-done. Didnt complain, it was still good, and I was too hungry to wait for them to recook. Blackened salmon had no issues. Scallops came out cool, cooked, but likely were sitting out for a while. Dinner was just about finished, and still no drinks. Drinks come, we ask for a to-go box and a check, get the box and wait another 15 min for the check until the waitress comes by again and asks if we need anything else. Im sure I was getting a little short at this point, but just said check please, with maybe a noticeably forced smile.

Complete waste of money for the second time....same experience as the first. Chester has a small but very quaint downtown which is why we enjoy patio seating, even on a chilly night. We went early on a Friday night for happy hour. This place has gas heaters but had been out of gas for several days. We were told that they havent had happy hour for about a year and they didnt bother to update their website because everyone just uses facebook now. We paid expensive prices for barely okay food, patio seating with no heat, and employees who smoke just a few steps away from the patio. No background music on a Friday for a pub was a downer also. There are quiet a few NICE places to go in Chester and surrounding towns. This was a complete waste of time and money. Please write a review if you go....would be interesting to hear if you find otherwise. We thought the first time experience was a fluke but unfortunately this seems to be the norm. Hence we were one of two couples dining there on a Friday night in the fall season.

Went for an early dinner and had the Philly cheese steak sandwich, which was wonderful. No big crowds early, but during warmer months there can be waits for dinner. A few TVs on the walls to watch sports in the bar area. Bigger dining room off the back with a view of the river.

Nice pub and eatery located right down town in the center of Chester. Good food and service. Depending on the time of day or evening, can be very busy. Ample seating for lunch and dinner, with the exception of the weekend- tight. Nice views from the window of the small river.

My go to place. Food and service are good. Wide menu range with some options being amazing. Kids menu with reasonable prices and real good not boxed/frozen stuff. Outside seating is convenient with kids.
